saws have a circular collision mesh, they don't really knock anything hard, you would be better off with something with teeth on it

yeah the original one had 2 motors but it gyroed even more than this thing
i'd put the disks separate from the weapon but it really needs them to spin too so idk

edit: it DOES have a separation between the inner and outer weapons though. its a quad ztek that I axle loaded stuff on so if the inner weapons go the outer ones won't necessarily die too and vice versa.

you could probably call it irl and its actually really solid. pretty durable n stable and throws stuff around nice. 10 kg op teeth
possibility for ironfight whatever craiigs thing



outwedges the few things with wedges in the pack and the sloped front diverts a lot of enemy blows. I haven't had it die yet in the times i fought to get those screens. haven't even had the ztek knocked off yet but i bet a nasty HS could amputate it and after that its all over.

it does however have a hard time righting itself if it flips over. I could probably fix it by moving the spinner back a bit but it might make the wedge suck and mess some other stuff up so i'm leaving it as is for now. it's really stable at the moment.

its ok. but for some reason its soooooo unstable. like mango tango wasn't the most stable thing ever but this thing flies around like an astronaut on speed even with just one ztek. idanno

its doesnt really spikeball, i was exaggerating a bit, but it is supposed to be difficult to hit and isn't the most stable thing. A lot of it depends on which way the weapon is spinning.



it's pretty difficult to drive (but as if i need to), I need to make it move obvious when its upside down in the paint job or something, i always lose track

must be all the activity in the "whine about the playground thread"

its ok i have more robots of questionable quality

ok so popups are wicked annoying and have no real counters (except sns which counter everything)
and ironforge bots flip all over the place so it's a pain to make a stable fast robot
SO I WAS LIKE SCREW BOTH lets make a robot that everybody hates.

it takes advantage of what makes Beer Goggles so friggin annoying.
1. it never spends more than 5 second per match with its wheels on the ground.
2. big ass spinny weapon.

therefore it treads the fine line between "wow reier that robot is so cool here's a million dollars for my gratitude" and "wow reier i will kill you with indiscriminate application of nuclear fire for making this robot"

to be completely honest there aren't many popups in the pack, so I can't really test it to its fullest.
except the obligatory doofus montage


basically in case you haven't figured it out it is supposed to ride up on top of things and just grind like the dickens. Most popups don't have many weapons, so the idea is that it should knock off the weapons or the armor relatively quickly leaving its opponent defenseless. Obviously a robot is never finished and I'll be tweaking this thing a ton but initial results look promising. It's also extremely hard to land a good hit on due to its instability and even if you do it's got tons of armor.

If I changed it, I'd try to make it absolutely as durable as possible. I might switch the ninjas for something else but I don't know what yet. PROBABLY CRUSHING TEETH or more likely something 2-sided so it can spin the weapon both ways
