Holy sh**, you nd arcane are amazing. My BB rep is sh** compared to this. As for the part going off.. i guess if you moved the chassis a bit to the direction opposite of of the component, you might be able to move it. Maybe set a limit of components direction to 2?

Thanks. I'm not sure about the exact direction and distance of the piece though, and if I move the chassis to get the piece I'm pretty sure I'd lose the chassis then, unless I'm missing something :/. I'm guessing that the only way to go about this would be a bot file edit if that's possible.

I'm not sure if I'm dumb and don't know all the controls, but an undue button would be a huge help in the bot builder (I'm guessing that's planned). Also, the main culprit for these errors is because when entering in coordinates, if the number box is focused but not the text itself, and if the number I'm entering leads with a "." e.g. ".350", then the period gets skipped and just 350 is entered. That's how I got the necro.

You can bfe the bots, it is kinda complicated

Pardon the ignorance, but what does BFE stand for?

Bot File Editing.
Going into the code for a robot and changing it.

Tbh, looks a bit like what a bot could be on the early days of robot combat imo

Though weapon spam by teeth won't be effective by the full version basically

I’m considering adding a script to lower the height of the center of mass to make all robots more tip-resistant.  It should help for almost every design except for something that is specifically designed to tip over.  Off the top of my head, I can’t think of any real-world examples of such a design though.  What do you guys think?
That would be a good addition.

P.S. Pussycat was practically designed to flop around and drive no matter what position it was in. That's the only example I know of.

Ah. I'll submit Shock (LW), Haywire (MW), Breaking Dawn (HW), AW_Twister, one of my BW bots, and either X-STORM or Chomp II, depending on if you have the ElectricHammer PY...

I'll make it so you only have to copy and paste.

I'd like to have my team placed in the 18th index, please.

This isn't stock. It's DSL-IRL.

Thanks all for the interest, I'll make an announcement about when people can send stuff. I'm also currently looking to have teams 0 to 16 filled atm, but if needed I'll happily expand.
0 to 16?

Memes aside, I do think noobs like Code Red and superbomb dogpiling on other noobs as soon as they slip up or do something weird is something that's worth addressing.
I haven't dogpiled on anyone here for the past few weeks and generally try not to be an extraordinary douche to others. I've already addressed my problems and decided it's not worth my while to go in on Redalert, unless you consider a quick jab to be "dogpiling". I know I make mistakes, but everyone on this forum has that post or time period where they went too far, and I'd prefer to not be characterized as some braindead flamer for how I was in my darkest hour earlier this month. I'm honestly sorry to anyone I've truly offended with negative jokes or insults or whatever, but I rarely mean much more than a light joke in most of my posts.

Then again, this will probably just lead to half a dozen people posting stupid quotes from my stupid little head over the past few months, but I've said what I wanted to, and I'll leave it at that

Had an absolute blast this evening building a Bite Force rep! I have to say, RR2's bot builder is leaps and bounds ahead of RA2 soooo much easier to work with!
Right, RR2's in alpha and Arcane's already got us all beat.

I love this. It looks like the kind of bot art that would be on a knockoff Chinese robot toy. Like, all I see in my head is "Battlerobots" Or "Robot tussle"
So............................... King of Bots/This is Fighting Robots?
No, a knockoff toy you find for like 3 bucks on Ebay somewhere

(Image removed from quote.)
behold the world's first clamp, snare, and flipper hybrid

Okay, this bot has to be a BOTM entry.

I'll find something else to invent...
Or you could just play the game

Where's the fun in playing the game when you can't discover something new?
because you're just re-naming an already existing bot type

but do whatever makes you feel good on the inside (aka drugs)
Nothing makes me feel good on the inside
