Lol, I would have considered digging through any number of pages in this thread a waste of time, especially if I was just going to say u mad for some random reason.
He didn't, he used the search function to find that post.
Uh huh.

Still pretty funny.

This is a forum full of furries and bronies and we're worrying about swearing? Seriously?
To be honest none of the above worry me at all.

well nasty pickle ain't going to be a problem
Looks terrifying and damaging, but I think it may be slower that way than when you have the motors further in, as the wheels are moving a greater distance to got the bot turning the same angle, which isn't bad with motors with lower torque but is bad news for one which could easily get to a greater speed like this one.

Try substituting the weapons on the end of the rack for fewer, but heavier ones with greater fracture, since that should help with de-weaponing.

It looks pointlessly small and too easy to knock back.

Nary and I agreed that zero tolerance was the best way to go about this anyway, so if anything does go wrong...

Blue snapper, bracket wedge, pink batteries, mud tires...

Did you learn absolutely nothing while you've been here?
I'm just trying to build for fun, alright? I can make combat worthy machines, I'm just posting what I've been up to since I was banned.

i don't believe you
Please post relavent material rather than just trashing Sparkles.
Bots look fun but poorly built. I believe people have already expressed their opinions on the setups.

Are you guys still cool with the whole realistic stock thing?  I've got a few bots I want to post, but they are in no way combat worthy.

They also have paint splashes :V

Dude building has shifted away from efficiency towards what could be done in real life.  Unless they are like a white box with two wheels and no interesting features you should be fine. (ignore Nary when he rages about inefficient bot she still loves efficiency building)
There's still some standard DSL round here too, so it's pretty cool on the building front. A little too much IRL for my liking (does NOT work in tournaments, and that's not just my grudge against Skidmark talking  ;)).

are the wedges actually any good though :P
Nope :P
As I said, I'll change the overall setup of the bot.

Welcome back Sparkey. The boards have honestly been pretty quiet without you (mostly because of the drama that used to happen round here but it might be refreshing to have some actual <expletive> go down here).

Any tips on how to build one of those. I've never strayed from flippers before
Both Nary and I built some fairly recently in our showcases.

Got bored and made some stuff.

Obviously built only for rule of cool, spinners driven by piglets. Does move and kinda sits on top of enemies and grinds them.

Concept based of the behavior of my BTTB4 entry, which notably had one wedge which got outwedged frequently by Sage so that the other bot got snagged on the second wedge where it got held and had its front slowly destroyed. Doesn't really work atm due to the setup I used and the less-than-damaging weapons. I'll post any updates I make.

Madman has 2 showcases! O:
I remember that. May it be eradicated from the face of the forum.

Hmm. maybe there's either no or an empty music folder. The music also needs to be .WAV format, IIRC.
I've got a full music folder, and I don't believe I've ever touched the folder's contents.

Ahh, I think the mesh of the skirt hinge holding the lower plough is raising up the front of your bot. I'd use the hinge so that the plough is further forward (but not so the tip is below the bottom of the chassis).
Also, just remove the components on the metal hinges and the metal hinges themselves and replace them with an identical set of components. Sometimes AGOD just strikes rather randomly.
