Some might say that a few of your replicas are already improvements on the originals.  Project Two and Shapeshifter spring to mind there. Lord knows what you'd achieve with some room to adapt.

I've just had a thought. Exactly what is it about Dusk 2 that crashes the game? It has no custom parts or anything, and it worked in the first batch of AIing and tests.
Any adjustments I make will probably have no effect on the problem, and it seems very unfair for me to make a new entry now that I know what I'm up against. :/

I believe that the list of extras in Battlebots would serve no problems at all, as they're mostly only decoration. Could limit them further to just the RW robots (eg, no Hworf or Complete
Control extras, etc).

What will be the rules on cheatbot components other than the Judge Burst? Some people may want to use extras from the likes of Dominator 2, Behemoth, Pussycat, etc in order to the feel of their robot?
