Same here, along with Slipshod.
Ohhh yeeeah :D what about this:
I wish I could say I liked this song, because I really liked BMTH's last album, but yeah, it just didn't sit well with me. On topic

Not at all, post what you want, I just listen to the songs in here sometimes and I thought I'd share my opinion, chill out :) If it makes you feel any better I really don't like that lo-fi style of heavy stuff that Playzooki just posted. Another opinion :P

I listened to the first minute and, as much as I was disliking the song beforehand, the drop made me want to rip off my ears. Oh dear.

For every dumb comment predicting/asking when it'll be out, we push the release back 1 day, so right now we're backlogged for about 2 years.
So you DO know a release date...
Nah but whenever we set one, those couple years will be added on Of course we are joking, but as RedAce says, it'll be out when it's out. Yes, it will come out. No, it might not be right when you want (eg now). Yes, this means it's still in progress. Also I'm assuming dezox actually means the test garage - the textures do look a bit dodgy there compared to the bot it must be said, just shows how much improved these reps are over regular RA2 bots.

I personally don't really like it that much, maybe its because to me the drums just seem too big for the bot and how the supports look fragile.
Yeah, I'm pretty much of the same opinion.

Travelling in the UK is generally horrible though, and if you don't have a way of doing it yourself (eg relying on your parents) in general they wouldn't take you very far. Also our public transport system is, at this point, horribly backdated.
... But at the end of the day I think it comes down to where you live. I know some of you guys in the US have to go hours even for school whereas we like walk around the corner. Not used to big distances between things here :L

Yeah to be fair it is a bit of a box. Peugeot can kinda be guessed outta the letters under the lights but yeah. Not that I'd ever drive a Peugeot. I'm happy with my VW Fox. Zoom. Zoom.

I might change the 'Previous tournament must be completed' bit though, and make it so the previous tournament only has to be completed if it expired less than a 9 months, essentially giving anyone who doesn't want to complete their last tournament a year before they can start another.

Thread merged. No need for 2 personal showcases, even if 1 is for jokes.

Thinking of changing the ban system on a failed tournament to instead of 3 immediate months of ban, having 3 months of waiting from being ready to move to signups from discussion on that person's next tournament, and people must finish their previous tournament before they can start a new one - expired or not. Thoughts? Makes the system better in cases where people leave their tournament in the balance for longer than their 3 month ban (eg KOS, Natster)

So I've decided to run my first tournament. It will be a small tournament so make sure you're ready to grab a spot once its up
Tournament format: 8 entrants will be split up in to 2 groups by random. Matches will be 1v1 round-robin. The winner from each group will go straight to semi-finals without fear of facing each other. Bot 2 and 3 of each group will also move on, while the last bot from each group will be out of the tourney. If two bots end up on the same score, general RR rules apply. If 3 bots end up with the same score, then a tie-breaker will be held (1v1v1) The bot that gets eliminated first (or if times up, score the lowest amount of points) will finish last of the three, then general RR rules apply. The bot finishing second in each group will then fight against third placed bot from the other group to decide the other two semifinalists. Screenshot to hopefully help out with the explanation: All matches will be one round. In round-robins this small, tie-breakers are not uncommon, so be prepared. General Rules:
- DSL 2.1
- Ruleset - DSL IRL
- Weight class - Heavyweight "HW" (up to 800.0 kg)
- 8 entrants
- One entry per person.
- Bots has to be AI'd before sent.
- If your bot is declined, you will have 48h to send a updated version before loosing your spot in queue. If the updated version is once again declined you'll loose your spot.
- You're not allowed to update your bot once it has been approved unless there's a rule change.
- Nobody can be entered until a bot is received and accepted.
- Champion: Tournament Champion will be awarded with fireworks and a decal. The winning bot will automatically enter the (hopefully) second installment of FullImpact. The builder will receive a second spot as well. (up for discussion)
- Bots that didn't make it out the group stage are not allowed to enter future FullImpact tournaments without serious changes.
Building Rules:
- Weight class: Heavyweight "HW" (up to 800.0 kg)
- Realistic rule. From what I understand, Most seem to have come to terms regarding this, to me , somewhat subjective style. The entries for The Great Round Robin 2 https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php?topic=16577.0 gives an indication of what kind of entries I expect for FullImpact.
- In-game glitches are allowed since I doubt one can abuse it without breaking realistic rule, pls let me know if this ain't the case.
- BFE is allowed for chassis design as long as bot stays realistic. All other external editing is forbidden.
- Clusterbots (max 2) are allowed, their combined weight shall not exceed 800.0 kg.
- No custom components except Madiaba's Smart Zones v3.
- No armour attached to the underside of the baseplate.
- No Narmour
- Cheatbot2 components: MOE motor, Judge Burst (max 2)
Battle rules:
- 3 minute matches.
- Official Robot Arena 2 Tournament Arena
- Hazards On.
- Judging will be scored by points.
- If havok, match will be restarted.
If the same bot causes havok two times in a row during a match that bot will be disqualified, loosing the match. This rule only applies during group stage.
I will only enter if necessary. My entry is ForesterDid I miss anything?
edit: BFE allowed for chassis design, one cheatbot2 component added, baseplate armor restriction and poll on weight class should be up any minute. edit: Heavyweight is the weight class of choice, judge burst allowed, 2 declined entries in a row looses your spot in queue. edit: added my entry in case were one short. replaced TripleXS with Forester edit: removed both restrictions to clusterbot entries. also changed havok rule so that disqualification only applies in group stage to prevent a final ending with a disqualification due to havok which would suck.
This is now a signups topic and the rules stated above may not change. You have 3 months.

So, where are us Brits going? Will definitely be at Portsmouth, hoping to get to Newport and Guildford too. Maidstone... possibly. (Note this list doesn't include any Robots Live events - I'll be at at least Burgess Hill of theirs)
