Blergh, I'll try something for this, but I despise stock LW so don't expect anything good.

Naming bots after Brutal Truth songs is officially cool.

Bot is bland and not very well executed. Try to shrink the chassis while maintaining that halfsheet setup. Drive should be okay, you may want standard NPCs.

I spend entire matches on my own, with Nary chilling in a corner and me taking on 2 at once...
Controlled movement is lacking.

I actually rather liked JD's shirt idea.
But yeah, I think the DSL and Stock Showcase "cool bots slideshow" idea was quite good.
Only problem I can see is that my whole showcase would have to appear in it

Every bot I have made should be on this list.

Legit post is legit.

But yeah, Big Wheel (I think that's what it's called) by 123 should be on it for being the first effective TRFBD. Or my first one for patent claims. Either works.

Seriously, stop making threads like this. For one, I like both the Wii and the PS1, and there's no way that MLP is bad these days; in fact the older versions suck while the newest generation is awesome.

Yeah, that would explain a lot.

I would have thought that Opeth would be the obvious multi-genre encompassing band here, since they cover Death Metal, Doom Metal, Jazz, Folk and 70s prog.

Cephalic Carnage mixes Grind with technical death metal and jazz.

Obscura and Cynic are kinda death-jazz too, as well as Atheist.

Ugly as sin, but it's much better than some of your other IRL bots.

Steel Warzone 2 is the least gimmicky and overall best on paper IMO.
We Are Assassins doesn't sound bad either.

I think Metal Gear Solid could be a great movie simply by re-telling the story in the games.

Saw Saxon, Judas Priest, and Kobra and the Lotus last night in Hammersmith.
Safe to say it kicked ass.

Prizephita Mach 2 vs Wild Thing. The latter really did little to actually effect the 'Phita which pretty much dominated the match until the end where they were ineffectually pushed.

Maybe this is just me thinking that Prizephita is so awesome that I can take down Thermidor 2 with only one wheel working, but hey, it was a kick in the teeth.

Well, this sucks. I think I have a legitimate right to feel ripped off.

madman3 specified FBS, so that's what I used. I don't know if it has firing functionality, but either case, I don't know how to implement it in the AI. I used my best AI knowledge, but it is only so far. My duty is to host, not to AI. So be lucky that I didn't just slap your bots in there ad hoc-ly.
To be fair I did already explain that my knowledge of AI'ing is extremely limited, so I would have thought that it would have been in your interest to at least tell me that my bot sucked under that particular AI form, unless bureaucracy really has spread as far as this thread.

As for why I said FBS it was the only thing off the top of my head and I thought it was a potentially appropriate one, but that shows what I know. I did ask Nary if he knew an appropriate bot file, but he didn't mention any.
In any case, the challenge thread is supposed to be a test of bots rather than AI, in any case
FBSTrinityInvertDir.py has trinity functionality i think
What AI packs is it in? I couldn't find it in any of my copies of DSL.
