I heard, 1 per spin motor, 2 per BSG, 4 per Small JX and 5 per Large JX. I have 24 (1x4+4x5) 2.5 per BSG 4.5 per Mag 5 per Small JX 7 per Large JX 21 per Beta

I wonder if I can make something more crazy than my August entry.

Actually, you might want to consider NPC + Rubber if you got 2 extra KG to spare.
On DSL, Shiny has 2000 HP, while Rubber has 3000 HP.
On NAR, Shiny has 1 grip, While Rubber has 1.2 grip.
Both are worth 1 kg if you ask me.

32 > 16*1.5. Drop the Mag and use NPC Normal.
Shiny Hub + NPC = 47 kg. Mag + Hypno = 48 kg
If you are not on NAR AI, then the 12000 HP motor obviously beats the 400.
If you are on NAR AI, you can use NPC with rubber wheel for even greater speed, at the same cost of 48kg. Plus more HP on everything.
Basically the 4 usable drive motors in game are, Astroflight, NPC Normal, NPC Fast, and E-Tek.

Oh wow, I just notice I got an flail SnS with exactly 6 axles. Since it will be my next NAR AI team, I will send in the whole package before the end of this week.

The first version has a wider radius, and width is very important for sweep.
You can probably turn those multi extenders out by 30 or 40 degrees, so you have a larger radius.

Oh, right. Most people use external armour anyway, I didn't think it would matter terrifically much if they were a little bit unequal.
Oh they are beyond "a little bit" worst if you are considering opportunity cost. You are roughly paying 1kg for 20 hp for upgrading. Better off downgrade to plastic 5 and put another piece of external.

Wammers aren't particularly good against other wedge or SnS. It's advantage is against VS.
Care to explain ? I do believe and claim boldly that wammers can be good against anything if well-built enough.
I personally avoid the "well-built enough." mentality, because that automatically imply not fighting someone at my skill level. Besides, how exactly do you out-efficient The Ounce anyway? Shape advantage and counter is the way to go. Wammer does not have advantage against other wedges, because win is determine largely by wedge and escape. Assuming wedges are equal, the result will come down to luck with a slight favor to the bot with higher DPS, leading to less escape chance. Other factors like self right also help increase that chance, which wammer does not have without using bsg wedges. For SnS vs wedge, winning is largely dependent on 1. Rather the wedge gets sweep 2. How durable is the second wedge 3. Can the SnS escape after getting pick up For this wammer, the front is not particularly wide, the second wedge not particularly high in HP, and DPS is not particularly high. So the only going factor will be how well it traps. If a SnS escapes the first ram it's pretty much over for the wammer, since it won't have a second chance to pick it up again. And with low DPS the SnS have an extended time to escape. This is made worst if all a SnS has to do is flip the wammer to win. Again no advantage here. Against VS however, a wammer (without extenders) can very easily de-weapon for the win. Beater bar or skirt hinge allows you to hold on to this advantage without producing any noticeable weakness against Wedge/SnS.

Humm, harpoon has enough sweep on the HW level? I need to take another look at them then.

I prefer beater bar or skirt hinge over extenders.
Wammers aren't particularly good against other wedge or SnS. It's advantage is against VS. With poly extender though you become at risk of losing to VS. You don't want cash cow to occasionally break your extender right?

So it's even easier to pull a block on SC2 than SC1?
The block for SC1 was usually supplies plus barrack, because they are the first 2 buildings available. The barrack will be the gate while supply forms the rest of the wall. There will also be "near complete" supply which makes good walls, because they can be canceled for minerals when they are about to die.
If Naryar is talking zealot rushing on SC1 I should be able to beat him with this.

Of course i am accepting new teams.
About the hexes, their lower AP now attach to axles huh ?
All the original generic F now also has axle F. So take weapon hex for example, all 3 connection points can be connected onto axle.

Take one of those 5 hours energy drink, you will feel the crash in about 20 minutes.
Or try building an UHW, with axles.

You still accepting new teams?
Oh right have you take a look at the hex plates? I started using them on some of my bots and was wondering which version I should send.

I joined the forum the first day I got DSL, and roughly a few days after stocks. You can see all my earlier bots in my showcase. You can also find my first completed team (Magical Land) on NAR AI.

How often does it get flip BTW?

Lol just use plastic 5. Anything above that is just overkill.
If you got weight left over, then put some external armors on it.

Lol I am not sure how to comment on a bot that's intended "not" to win.
Add ballast maybe?

Wedge efficiency mainly around bot design, stability and weight distribution. Small wedges and metal hinges come secondary.
Lol the next question will be, how to win the wedge war from there on, when most bots have wheels in the back and are also fairly stable. Hmm... then what else? I mean it outwedges robot with small wedges, (the triangular thing that Soda Pop and others have) with according to modern theory it should have a hard time doing.
If I know that I will be the best wedge builder on GTM. If you got the time for testing, put an extender/small wedge on KwK, and see which version has a better wedge.
