Mainly this, but the advice of some of the others (especially Nary and Mr AS, sort of ignore Avalanche though) is also valid. Gonna lock this thread, drop me a pm if you need a hand understanding the system and put your new tournament thread into Active Discussion when it's ready. :)

A bot like that really doesn't need extenders everywhere to make it look great. Sometimes, less is more - you may end up making something that looks like a totally realistic real life bot, which is much more impressive than crazy extenders in my opinion at least. (and before you freak out, yes your bots are good, just take the opinions you think could be valid and try them out in future - we're not criticizing you :P)

Kawaii Fun Time Death Match Extreme Waifu Edition :3
RULES: 16 entrants Stock Middleweight Matches will be 4 way rumbles in the octagon with that hazards on and will last until one bot remains. Each bot must be painted in a shade of light pink/yellow/blue/purple/whatever color you think would fit those. No BFE/AAM/Hax mode/whatever other jewish shill tricks you have. The cheatbot2 flamethrower IS allowed. Robots must show somewhat controlled movement No SnS I can reject your bot for any reason. All bot names must be weeabooish, nonthreatening, girly, etc, you get the idea. Bonus points if you put your waifu on the bot.

-I actually agree with the banning of trov glitch, because ultra-thin chassis parts will just break at the first impact in real life.
And all those unsupported Perm axles are totally not going to just fall down in real life, right? :P

Standard Realism is something that has had it's own unspoken rules as such. A few issues I can find
-Trov Glitch is fine - you can make thin chassis in real life. -Doesn't have to be entirely destructible in classic DSL-S - just makes you a complete tryhard if you use caster armour/Narmour (Most tournament hosts use the Narmour-Be-Gone patch anyway) -Nothing wrong with DSA - it's really weak in DSL so there's no point choosing it and generally banning it is odd, but okay.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I'm not fond of the round extender look but I've always wanted to try a framework flipper in DSL2.1 after the work I did on Shrapnel in Ironforge.

Place the component anywhere and then use BEF'ing to move it to the right location. Refer to 123STW's diagram you just change the rent component number, parent matching point, and child matching point to whatever you want, and you can make an infinite chain
Craaig posted something on increasing the number of components you can attach to a component. Where is it? I don't understand this, sorry...
I don't think he did. :P It's all BFE stuff as Sonny said.

Format: -This will be a King of the Hill Tournament influenced by my Total Annihilation tournaments. 4 Bots start in a 3 minutes Match. After the time is up the bot with the lowest score will be eliminated. The 3 remaining bots start into a 2 minute match and the bot with the lowest score will be eleminated. The heat final will be 1 minute and the winner will move on the grand final wich will be in the same format. - Hill Top Arena - 16 entries only - DSL 2.1 HW
Rules: - Realistic rule applies (that means DSL-S) - No multibots - No BFE, AAM, or any of that. - No Cheatbot2 - !!!No Flamethrowers!!! - Havocs will cause one restart. If it happens again the bot that caused it will be eliminated. -If the score of the two (or more) lowest scoring bots is equal they have to fight it out who`s going to round to in a 1 minute king of the hill battle in the hilltop arena. The winner of this fight qualifies only for the next round in its heat. - Beeing active counts more than having scored points. If bot "A" has scored points but is kounted out/destroyed but bot "B" is still mobile but has scored less points bot "B" will advance. If both bots are immobilezed somehow the bot with the higher score will go on
Note: Please AI the bot yourself. If you don`t I will and I will just copiepaste bindings from a another bot that fits.
1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 - 10 - 11 - 12 - 13 - 14 - 15 - 16 -
If I get less than 16 Bots I will either fill some spots with bye bots taken from the T.A. tournaments or I will rearange the brakes to get a nice tournament.
