Made some changes based on your feedback. Changed up the support setup a bit to try to lessen the clipping, and also to save weight. Also redid the wheelguards to try to get them a bit cleaner. Finally spent the weight saved from altering the supports on 2 more small typhoons, giving it a total of 4

I really like the design of this robot but the color uniformity makes it hard to distinguish the angles and contour lines. Apart from that, good work!
Yeah, this guy has a point.

Another rear hinge. CW this time. Fair bit happier with this one than the last, which deviated pretty heavily from what I think is a good build style. This one is closer to my conventional style. TWMR2s for drive and a storm burst for the flipper. Frontal armour is all steel, everything else is Alu

This reminds me of Starfox, and I haven't even played any of those games.

Knocked together a quick little rear hinge. It's about 75KG underweight and super underpowered weapon-wise, but I think it came out looking pretty decent, so there's that at least. 2 TWMR2s for drive and a storm burst for the flipper.

Absolutely beautiful.

Duck. Ignore the distortion of the word "DUCK!" it was unavoidable, I needed to BFE the chassis [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]
The distortion is barely noticeable. You did a fine job!

Here's the completed product. He's as heavy as Killalot! All that's left now for the house robots is the Refbot, then I can finally relax and make the competitors. Expect a few anime references.

Rebuilt the base of Cassuis Chrome. Reinforced arms and a 4 wheel drive. (Fun fact: I used to think the original Cassius Chrome had a 4 wheels drive, but I was wrong. He had 2. So I redesigned my version to have 2 wheels. But that version always fell on it's face, due to being top-heavy. He always tripped up on his wedge too. So, I'm putting him back to 4 wheel drive.)

I've never seen anything like THIS happen before!
Damn. Good thing they have 2 sets of walls. Who's the 2015 Bite Force look-alike?

Monsoon. The weapon assembly swings like the real thing. But it started to AGOD then mysteriously fixed itself, so at that point I decided to stop trying to put anymore stuff on the axle [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]
You should make a component pack with the coloured axe heads, you already have two
Smh why not release them in coloured components pack?

Because he never organized his stuff. It's a god-awful mess of custom parts he's working with. It would take years to get through it all.

I really like Resistance, especially the Prodigy reference on the back. if you could get the logo onto the flipper itself it'd look even cooler
Never been able to sort out getting those armour panel skins right, unfortunately, otherwise I would have absolutely done that.

Nice plug. I think I'll check this tutorial out some time. And Mazakari, I like that VS. I assume it's British?

Just a question: Are they static or are they powered, like Mindstorms?
Static. I can't afford mindstorms.

Man, I need to submit my lego bots.
^What I said in my last post^.
Do it.
Here's Dead Metal: [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] His saw has always been useless, so it's been downsized a bit. I added a giant, scorpion tail srimech to him that actually works. It also spices up the design quite a bit. [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]
Might be late, but, Thank you Tommy, very cool!
Thanks! Any praise and critique is appreciated. I'm currently working on Cassius Chrome. He's become a THICC BOI.

I have an idea for a tournament, but I can't do it by myself.
It's an DSL2.3 IRL tournament that uses a point system to determine the quality and quantity of entrants you want to bring in.
The idea is to encourage a variety in quality of competitors, like in real life. We kinda already have it with the different levels of skill amongst the various builders here, but I think we can go a step further:
Let's have all builders, pros and not pros, use a system where you can either choose between entering a single, super-effective design, or multiple ineffective designs. It would be REALLY hard to figure out what kind of system it would take to make this balanced and fair, so that someone who enters one try-hard design has as much chance to win as a person who enters 5 sh**ty designs. It's almost like a simulation of money: High-end, powerful bots cost a lot, low-end robots don't. The difference is that we all start with the same amount of points, or cash, but what we do with it is different. You could either enter with 1 good entry or several bad entries. I think it's fair, if it's done right.
What makes for a good design? Something that uses NPC Fasts, is invertible, has a powerful weapon, etc. Anything common that you'd see in try-hard designs. It's ok to make them, but it takes a lot of points. If you have a robot that has a powerful weapon, but can't self-right, or a robot with weak armor, poor drive, etc, then that takes up less points, meaning you can make multiple low-end bots.
It's just an idea, and idea I can't do by myself. What do you all think?
Intriguing entry balancing. I'd be down.
Heads up, no one uses 2.3 tbh, it's just 2.2 with some new things that dont sway people to jump over.
Would anyone be willing to host it?
