This probably won't be updated often, but here it is anyway. This is my first robot that uses a BFE'd chassis, and also uses a custom flipper component and skirt hinge burst. Name is Invidia: Back: Front:

It would be nice to have them in there for replica making or interesting designs. I'm not sure how many robots would actually use them, though, so I guess it depends on how much effort that would take on your part.

Woah, that looks dangerous, very nice.

Thanks again guys! Love it! Is there gonna be more of the Scuttlebug series?
Most likely, yes. I'll make them when I get good enough ideas. I did make a failed attempt at a new one a while back, so I intend to remake that one sometime. Great job with the reskinning and use of what I'm assuming are the matilda horns. Is the shell still made out of that Tazbot armour?
They are indeed matilda horns, and it is still using the taz shell. I'll be using that whenever I make a new Scuttlebug robot. I would get rid of that matilda stuff and put 3 lighting spikes on the back spaced out evenly around the back half of the chassis, but that's just my preference. Looks bretty gud otherwise.
I'll give the Lightning spikes a shot and see what I think.

Thanks guys :) Does the flipper have a "fake piston" of some sort underneath?
It does indeed, made of flipper segments. Ideally I want to skin the taz shell with a slot as well.

The latest in the Scuttlebug series: Scuttlebug Evo Judge burst powers the flipper, NPC Fast + hypnos drive.

This is awesome, I'm really interested in how to do that.

I like it, I think it has a Behemoth vibe to it. Along those lines I think it would look cool with a bucket scoop, but I don't know how you could best achieve that with Ironforge components. I really love the overall design with the chassis above the tracks, that's very cool.

Thyrus makes a good point. The style of the robot wars games was pretty different to RA2, much more gritty (did I just use gritty in a serious context?) and industrial, and I really prefer that style over the arenas found in RA2. From the looks of things this will change with HB's mod, though. I just can't put up with the physics in the old robot wars games, nor the limitations on designing my own robot.

I really like #2, even if the bot isn't that Christmassy on its own. Looks like something from War of the Worlds, and gets my vote on that basis, as well as I have a soft spot for the Doctor Who episode with the killer Christmas trees. Wish I had time to make an entry this month, but I couldn't make anything I was happy with. Hopefully I'll enter next month.

It's a shame 4-bar flippers are so dumb looking in RA2, your bot is really nice otherwise. They look slightly better in DSL3, though.

Flipper arm is a bit too thin IMO
I disagree actually, I think it's a good size. Rest of the bot is cool too. Can we see what it looks like when the flipper is fired?

I didn't intend to make a dalek, but it just turned out that way, so whatever.
What was it intended to be if that's how it came out?
It was going to be something for botm, but it didn't go to plan. It looks like I won't be able to enter botm this month, unfortunately.

Has anyone built a Dalek before? Well, I gave it my best shot. Slightly closer look: I didn't intend to make a dalek, but it just turned out that way, so whatever. And before mentions it, yes claw daleks exist. I think they look cooler.

Looks awesome. Does the side panel do a good enough job of keeping bots on the jugglers?

Looks really cool, those spikes look great as the front wedges especially.

Absolutely beautiful, one of my favourite replicas you've made.

Nothing as extravagant as Cheshire Cat, but here's a new robot: Man at Arms And back: Super complex skins will have to wait until my coursework is done, unfortunately, but it's alright for a simple job.

A TWM3R Drive would probably do you fine for the axe. If I'm remembering right drive motors are better for hammers than spin motors, but if not just a normal TWM3R would probably be ok.
