It doesn't really matter what you build, if you're trying to stick it to the popups, you must have either annoying defenses (like HSes) or simple have better wedges. Take your time on the wedge and experiment some more if necessary. It's the harsh truth, but even good wedges are a requirement for good popup.

That aside, the blades aren't doing that much since you already have FSes for protection and the VS to flick bots away from your chassis. Ditch those and you could probably try out Snapper2 wedges, or just use some good ol' ramplates since those cover the front much better.

actually that VS is more for grinding at the enemy underside while rapidly draining their chassis s'health thanks the high piercing of the razors, and i'll still need something for the center, also i can't put anchors higher to add ramplates with my current setup, green snappers won't fit either cause chassis s'not tall enough, i may mount them externally  and redo the FS mounting setup

So... after getting my ass handed to me by an OP and bullsh** bot type in crapcan derby i could have been a little bitch and prepare a popup for Battle Arcade... but i refuse to give in to this stupid meta and imo people who only build and enter popups/hs are uncreative and boring people (not to mention lack of skill in some cases), so this is my entry for Battle Arcade:

2 blacks, 795.0 kg, DSA, blue snapper wedges (yes they suck but i'm probably gonna die first round to a popup either way, VS is meant to rapidly deal damage while the side FS grinds at the wheels of the enemy

ikr Hi5er, clearly wasting time making an hybrid (or a drum in your case) to enter something interesting isn't the way forward since you can take roughly 20 minutes to make a baseplate setup popup like Fracture's (just using you as an example, i've no grudge against you) and destroy everything as long as your wedges aren't apesh**

the fact that this game is aging and that every option and attempt at making it interesting (well unless Retooled succeds in making this game fun and interesting to tinker with) has already been tried isn't really gonna help with the forum s'present state, a wide-scale tournament could help to kick the forum activity back up, but it will only last so long cause it will still end up being the same boring game in the long run, and making mods and sh** won't change that, i recall 123 saying after he released IF that even with this mod, it was the same boring thing again, really at this point, it's a new game that is required, but now that RA3 is proven to be a massive pile of sh**, i don't think there really is much hope left

time to enter a drum since that's what dominates the IRL meta

jesus, a Bamzooki thread on a RA2 based forum attracted a former champ... if he enters the tourney... this guy may be a threat... a serious threat... also dunno if i should try to make a team for the tourney given that i have literally 0 experience with zook making (that i don't even know what event i must make the zooks for)

if you want to use a wedge, only use the center point of the skirt hinge, otherwise it's gonna be fail... use the weight to either make it longer or sturdier

if this is DSL 2.2 then that mechavore disc is gonna be really damaging, also yeah since your weapon isn't exactly huge, higher turnspeed is something required

a new BBEANS would surely be awesome... if something like that appears, regardless of mod i'll try to make something for it...

Well Late Night Abberation didn't fared all that bad, i wonder how it would have fared against the tournament s'wedgebots (Conundrum and Tastes like sparkles)

Sealion Hammersmith: Really scary hammer bot there

Five Ideal Verbal Efforts Son: holy flying **** on wheels, just how many weapon systems are there on this thing ?

TriKilla: A flipper with a single DDT ? in HW ? you won't overturn anything any time soon

Weaponized R.: More weapons would be required to have decent sucess.

Papyrus Bike: What in the name of Gaster is this Sanseless aberration ?

Conundrum v6: Pretty good bot here from Hi5er, if wedges are good then this could be dangerous

Tastes like sparkles: Potentially able to oneshot it's enemies, but no frontal armor...

Disappointment Trike: If speed isn't gonna be an issue this thing could do pretty well

I'm not at all serious: And it shows....

Late Night Aberration: Litterally assembled this thing at 3AM in the morning being tired as hell and after a month or two of not playing stock... if this thing wins i'll laugh...

55 armor choices still seems a bit too much tbh... that's even more than what the RWRA2+ mod has, i get the idea of having no way to be underweight... but it's still overkill imo

RA2 in Undertale would be retarded.... inb4 EMERGENCY in place of sans on Genocide Route

oh and there is an engine called Unitale which allows you to create your own Undertale fights

well, it seems you've managed to make a design that can at least kill a couple things, i do have some things to say:

-that pointy tip at the back which i assume is for stability, can be removed or at least made lighter
-what i assume to be blades coming from under the ramplates and protecting the z-teks can most likely be removed too
-that strange mace mount on your wedges may be detrimental to it's wedginess
-the razors protecting the sides are too fragile to be effective, change them for irons
-try to get rubber wheels for better ground clearance

this is my opinion at least, better experienced members may say otherwise (in which case i advise you to follow their direction rather than mine)

it certainly will lose part of it's punch, but the extra stability will most likely be worth it cause at least you won't bounce all over the place and be able to actually bring that drum into play.
