Both bots looking pretty sweet IMO, but on the HW I think you should just remove the castors completely.

Whats that extender work at the top? You should probably get rid of it. Those ramplates should probably be closer together and lower down. You've made a noob mistake with the caster amour; there arn't enough casters for it to count as 'armour', remove them. Bring the front wedges forwards so they are longer. Those ramplates protecting the wheels -is that what the heavy extender works for?- aren't needed. Also, make the chassis shorter. It should only really have to be five pixels tall=as tall as a HPZ.
Other than that though, I'd say that that isn't bad. Keep at it. EDIT: Also, don't attach two wedges to one burst motor. 25

Heres a tip: One supervolt can power four HPZ motors. So you only really need one in Cyclone. And as Scrap said, a wedge would really benefit that bot.
Hello, btw =) 31

Why would you rather bike on an exercise machine when you could bike outside on a real bike?Part of a program at a gym? Why run on a tread when you can run outside?Again, blame the gym. Maybe its rainy outside. Why buy fat free when you should just eat less?If you wanna eat, and you can eat food that DOESN'T get you fat... Why spend money on stuff you can't afford? You can't. Why watch sports all day when you can play them?Maybe they're better to watch. Or maybe you can't play them. Motorsport for example. Why artificially color foods when there is no reason to?Actually thats a really good question. Its because people 'preffer' it that way, but if it wasn't that way in the first place, would they notice? Why have special words for fat people? (person of mass, obese)Because they're shallow and get offended easy. Well, they're not shallow, but you know... Why throw away food if it costs money?Another good question. Its because we're bastards. Why kill animals for fun when you won't eat them?Because people who do that are bastards. And to continue; Why drive an MPV or SUV with no-one in it, when you could use a bus?! Why all the excess packaging on toys? Or anything? Heh, don't take this too seriously, eh? 32

@pys: it hit me flat side, luckily. It didn't actually see how big (or soft) it was, but it was big enought to leave me with seven stitches.
@R1: I've never broken any bone either. Before this the worst I had was shredded knees aswell. Not fun indeed. 35

Just thought I'd share this.
Yesterday, I was out with a bunch of freinds playing by a river with a baseball. Naturally, the baseball found its way into this river, and decided to lodge itself on some twigs in the middle. With a baseball bat to help reach it, this wasn't too much of a problem. However, one of my freinds thought it was a good idea to lob a brick at it, to try and dislodge it. Unfortunatly, He did this just as I was leaning forwards with the bat, and we kinda met in the middle. It felt like I'd just been hit by a football (sorry, soccer ball=P) and I thought my freinds were joking about all the blood untill I felt it trickle down my arm. And on to my new, white shirt. My freinds were all really worried and wanted to call an ambulance, and I just stood there laughing at it all. I wasn't unconcious or concussed or acting any stranger than usual, so I knew it wasn't anything too serious. I did end up in A&E though, where a doctor got a good look and saw my skull through the three inch gash the brick had given me. But no skull damage and now I've got seven stitches for it. So yeah, I had a fun day yesterday. __ Wow, I've just written a novel =P Well done if actually read it all though. The point of this thread is for everyone to post stories about any significant injurys they've experianced and would like to share. Sharing the stories that is, not the injuries... So, step right up... 36

Don't use the plastic extenders, they break really easily. Easier than aluminium at any rate.

Discussion / skinning help!!« on: August 03, 2009, 03:14:32 PM »Quote from: Bot_smasher;57026 Go tho the paint shop, click export template, get out of the game, go into the program file, access custom textures, open the texture up with paint, and paint it. That IS making the texture. Applying it would be to save, go back to game, go to paintshop and click import custom texture. You have to make custom textures outside of the game. However, if you are talking about making decals, skinning certain components, or making your own skin pack... Then you need to be more specific. 40
