DSL TC Showcases / Re: FOTEPX's DSL Showcase« on: June 26, 2012, 02:12:43 PM »
I like the Road Rage one, and regarding IRL, that can be made in real life. Also, it's YOUR showcase, so YOU get to choose whether you can keep the hinges or not. I'd keep them.

I only make IRL style robots anyways, as I hate the unrealistic style ones. I highly support this idea and wish you and anyone who participates, good luck.

So, if there are people who are not fans of either Sonic or the games and they don't play this fan game, they're "dumb" to not play it? Great logic.

Real Robotics Discussion / Re: Robotics Questions MEGATHREAD« on: June 19, 2012, 10:14:09 PM »I can answer the latter, the answer is yes. It's no longer competitive but still well-upkept. Ian Watts is an engineering professor at the University of Brighton. In his course, the final project is to build a featherweight robot, and a tournament is held. After the winner is crowned, Ian wheels in Bigger Brother and smashes up all of his students' bots. Check it out (skip to 26 minutes for Bigger Brother): Hah, that's brilliant. 1920
