I've never met anyone

Hah. Good one. :P

Your new Foxic tee may have encouraged me to up my game with Snappy tshirts, just wish my design was as memorable, lol.

I don't know why you created a new thread for it honestly, you're just continuing the conversation so I merged these threads.

Moving RA2 around will never mean your bots just disappear, as long as you move everything. RA2 and it's folder based system is good for that.

Your bots that you're exporting from Ironforge will be there though, just under Compatibility Files, as Badnik said - here, I annotated your screenshot for you.

No, Robot Wars isn't coming back, at least yet. BattleBots is gonna be (and has always been) awesome and you should watch it (and yes I grew up in the UK with RW).

Actually, I'm starting to get used to the style of your replicas HB. These are still awesome, don't get me wrong, but I just don't feel as amazed as I used to see these reps.

Also, is Storm II's arm supposed to flex that way? Keep in mind I haven't kept up with British Robot Battles in years, so forgive me.

The Storm guys modded it that way for a fight against Sewer Snake a few years ago so they could self-right better

You save/export the same way as in any version of RA2.

Robot Wars RA2 is going to be £1000 so with just a few people buying it we can all afford new full pressure featherweight flippers.

I wasn't aiming that at anyone, I can see why you think I am but I'm not. At the end of the day, if the bots have got in and are legal by the tournament's rules, it's wrong of me to complain about them winning.

Honestly it's slightly discouraging to make anything look interesting when people will just tryhard to hell and just think LOL EASY WIN. Hell, even the most tryhard of my bots this time only got to Round 2.

Well Robot Wars isn't just about the show anymore.

And hasn't been for well over 10 years. If you don't like modern robots, KW, don't use them. It's actually very difficult to get permission for robots that haven't had anything to do with the scene since before 2002, Knight's doing an amazing job with it. Actually kinda disrespectful to people keeping it all going to go and put their work down, if anything.

It'll let UK people watch it if you have Hola/Zenmate or a general American proxy/VPN. Nothing difficult.

It's generally accepted around here as not a good idea, everything about them is balanced completely differently, so 1 set of components will be obviously better than the other - plus the in-game armours are actually different in both mods too. It's all good for fun stuff, if that's what you want, but won't be useful for competitive play. The Custom Components showcase would be the most accurate place to get bots posted should you want to. :)

Yes :) The HW's are balanced somewhere around 1000kg, also.

I'm both pleased and proud to post this one up, HB's model of course but for fairly obvious reasons I was given the joy of posting it up:

A Featherweight version of my beloved friend, Mr Snappy - Mr Snappy Sr!

I've got it on the geared Beta, but it could be switched for the Burst one just as easily.

It's not as if you're never going to see it, but it's out of our hands and into Click's so bug him rather than us ;)
