Tournament Archives / Re: Forum's Choice Annihilator« on: August 07, 2014, 02:21:20 PM »too many lw tournies make it stock hw arena being high dive firepitI'm not familiar with the arena. It does seem that the majority of people here want a stock tournament and I think I can rule out IRL (I didn't want to do an IRL tournament after F&S 2 anyway.) I'll add one or two DSL-S options to the poll but I won't be surprised if stock wins. 1823
Tournament Archives / Re: Forum's Choice Annihilator« on: August 07, 2014, 02:06:57 PM »The concept Tom was going for with No Holds Barred was a pretty new, interesting metagame too Nary.Again, very true and I didn't get many entries for that. However, SHW is much lighter than UHW, 3800kg difference in fact. I'm sure people can make a bot 400kg more than usual rather than 4200kg. 1824

I'll put the most requested types in a poll tomorrow or the day after and see what I'm doing.
Stock LW, AW Tournament with OOTA walls. No cheatbot. No SNS, Popups and HS.Not a bad idea. I'd prefer LW to AW, especially in stock. 1827
Tournament Archives / Re: Forum's Choice Annihilator« on: August 07, 2014, 01:39:09 PM »It would be quite funny, though.Stock UHW in small arena no cheatbot. They'll get stuck in the walls then... 1828
Tournament Archives / Re: Forum's Choice Annihilator« on: August 07, 2014, 12:31:10 PM »I was joking about Stock UHW, hence why I struck it out and followed with "Just kidding." But I think that Stock/DSL-S SHW in RA2T2 arena, hazards on, no cheatbot2, would be fine. If SHW can't work, then HW would be great.I was comparing it to my UHW tournament, I knew you were joking. A Stock/DSL-S HW tournament in the RA2T2 Arena seems like a good idea. DSL-S SHW spinners only in an enclosed arenaI don't want to rob you of that ingenious idea, 09. Try making that tournament yourself, ha ha. I'm really in the mood for a Stock SHW tournament. Probably a hazardless combat zone would work best. Plenty of tournaments have focused on lighter weight classes lately, so it would be fun to turn that around. SHW is big, but not too big.SHW Stock seems alright. 1829
Tournament Archives / Re: Forum's Choice Annihilator« on: August 07, 2014, 12:14:20 PM »I tried UHW and it seems SHW would go down the same way. I'll take it into consideration though. I guess SHW is much less heavier than UHW now that I think about it, so I guess more people would join. 1830

Tournament Archives / Forum's Choice Annihilator - Signups closed« on: August 07, 2014, 10:46:26 AM »![]() Considering I just finished a tournament, I don't want to rush straight into another but I do want to know what people on this forum most want in a tournament. This is a discussion thread for now but may be changed into a tournament thread depending on interest. I am planning on running an Annihilator type tournament where there will be matches of 4 with people going out one by one (you should know what an Annihilator is.) However, I want some input on what to make the tournament. In other words, the forum will make this tournament, I will just be hosting it. These are the things I want your input on: Let's build this from the ground up then, judging from votes for each detail. Rules: Game type - Stock Weight class - SHW Unlimited entrants 1 entry per person I'll AI if you can't Building rules: SHW is up to 1200.0kg In-game glitches are allowed, apart from hax mode. Out of game glitches are banned Cheabot2 is banned Walker/Crawlers/Shufflers aren't allowed. Multibots can't be used in a 4-way match You can update you bot as much as you want before signups end Match rules: 3 minute matches Arena will be The Octagon with hazards on One restart due to a havok, two havoks then the robot causing it will be disqualified Judging will be done by points scored Entrants: 1. RedAce - Cataclysm 2. Kungfooey242 - SmeshyDerp 3. Thrackerzod - Whirling Disaster 2.0 4. Wacky Bob - Moss Monster 5. 090901 - pomf =3 tank Red - Problem Black - Received Blue - Accepted Green - AIed 1832
Tournament Archives / Re: VG Showdown- Splash, Brackets, and Videos« on: August 06, 2014, 05:29:25 PM »Resetti, Phoenix Wright, R.O.B and Oregon Trail are by far the best. Maybe I should've entered my PacMan or Pyramid Head, at least they're based on the games.Your Pacman in this would be hilarious. 1833

Sorry, dude but I've noticed that a lot of awards threads ask for viewers/participants to vote and in the latest ones, Kurt Wylde only got three and you got more than that, I think, but that took a while to get. I'm not waiting for a decision to be made which I normally make myself anyway.

I only see a few here that actually relate to the game. Phoenix Wright is my favourite. I don't play Animal Crossing but Resetti has been done well! If only Sonny_Resetti could win this on looks alone.

If I don't get any significant amount of votes, I'll just decide who gets the awards myself.
I'm gonna take the initiative anyway. Sorry to Elementos and El Chickenado, I'll take your votes into consideration though. 1837

Would be more than happy to see a third installment. There may be one. I may do one every other tournament I do. I may do a DSL-S tournament next. Did you pick up "commiserations to all the losers" from my videos? Ha ha. 1838

You don't know the agony I was in when I started to record williamjones' match. I recorded three times and the first two was just littlegay pushing Patrick around and nothing was happening. I was so happy when I recorded it the third time.
