MOST EXCELLENT. *cackles evilly*
Your pretense and incompetence disgusts me. You can be polite and forceful rather than weak then backing it up with a poorly made statement.

Sort yourself out man, you can be eviler than this.

I didn't find the voice acting in FFX that bad, a little cheesy yeah but that's to be expected in a game like final fantasy. Seymour, Jecht, Wakka etc. were all voiced well i only found tidus and yuna a little cheesy really :P

I loved the combat, loved most the characters, loved the maps, loved blitzball and seymour is one of the best bad guys i've fought against in video games.. he genuinely ticks you off after the 1 millionth fight (you just wish he'd die already) lol which is a good thing.
Tidus's character in general is something I find pretty annoying (a little worse than Cloud from FF7), but I've never been a JRPG person. In terms of the settings, they kick ass (if a western RPG used the same styling as FF it would be awesome), but the characters are rather bland or just stupid IMO. I kinda like FF6 because it's not really about one or two individual characters, but it's still not great in that area and the plot's forgettable.

not my fav games though, close but not quite. Here's a rough list of my favorite games from 2003 and before:

1.Jade Cocoon (PSX)
2.Robot Arena 2 (PC)
3.3D movie maker (PC)
4.Final Fantasy X (PS2)
5.Doom II (PC)
6.Duke Nukem 3D (PC)
7.Starcraft (PC)
8.slipstream 5000 (PC)
9.4D Boxing (PC)
10.Full Throttle (PC)

Based on:

memorability
Creative freedom
time spent playing
fun factor
Oh god. The voice acting :dead:

Grab a copy of Baldur's Gate 2 if you like RPGs

As for me, my childhood mostly consisted of LoZ: Ocarina Of Time and Hot Wheels: Turbo Racing, but my favorite classic games are Super Metroid, Metroid Fusion, Age Of Empires 2 (this game probably defines gaming in my childhood), MGS, and Mario Kart 64.

MGS is probably my favorite PS1 game, unoriginal as that may be as a choice.
Who here loves Super Metroid?

The reason you get repped down all the time is because your posts contribute little to a discussion generally. No offense, but this isn't the forum for you really.

Tara Strong doing voice acting? Sounds cool but I'm not sure what to expect from a game like this.

Cake.
um k

But essentially in the UK taxes are higher (which has its own benefits as well as faults) so economic equality tends to work more efficiently here.

"Equality."

Right. So if a man and a woman apply for a job, and the organization needs an equal number of men and women or they will be deemed "sexist," they will hire the woman to balance out the genders, regardless of either's qualifications or how well the perform the job. Same goes for black/white/other races, old/young, and such.

Seems "equal" to me.
That's logic that only works in long established organisations. For ones starting it's less of an issue as they simply pick the people with the best qualifications whatever gender or race it is.

Also, that's not really a realistic situation you've established. Rarely will a company simply employ someone of certain origins rather than based on what qualifications or personalities they bring.

those graphics are horrible.
That never stopped Doom, Super Metroid, Deus Ex, System Shock, and others from being great games.

And they are. But this... is just bad.
Have you actually played it?
It looks okay to me anyway.

you really didn't have to post a game tutorial here. Honestly, you're acting like a noob again. Shut up or leave.
Oi, he's allowed to post a thread like this. Quit being so aggressive, this isn't playground.
I've never had a chance to play it but according to everyone I know who's played it this is a great game, save for the race with Wizpig.

You can't hate teenagers just because a group of them are being dicks.

And Madman, being a conservative doesn't make you dumb, either.
But being liberal sure does!
Have fun with your extreme economic inequality.

Let's give all the poor people money so they can learn to have everything given to them instead of actually making them find a job and work for it!

...hey, you started it back up.
That's not exactly helped by the US's localized education tax, to be honest.
It also doesn't help that there aren't really enough jobs anyway. The US seriously needs to sort out its employment issues by providing more jobs. Simply barking that people aren't working (which is true but as I said rather unavoidable at the present time) isn't really looking at the full problem and isn't a very good argument.

looks like crap

SADX is much better.
It's a doom mod son.
Nah, 'tis but build upon the same engine.
A mod would be like that thing I sent you that Trey Azagthoth made.

It's just a standpoint I disagree with.
I'll let System chip in if he wants to since I remember him saying something hilarious on the subject.
New Dying Fetus record sounds pretty good.

This is why I hate teenagers.  I bet none of these unruly children would actually beat her up if she came to there house. Because they're just cowards. I hope this keeps them from getting a good job or getting into a good college in a couple of years. The saddest part is that no one stopped them.
God damn, kids in America scare me. Some dude should teach them to respect people rather than run their mouths.

There is no need to turn this into a UK vs US war

And on off topic, anyone ever notice that "lOl" looks like the green lantern? (It also looks like somthing else, :coolface
Well, I meant some kids rather than all of them. You're alright, for one.

Luckily, not all teenagers are complete tossers. I hope that I have proved that to some extent.
I hate to say it but I'm not a fan of your actions here at times. Sorry.
Might just be that you're a conservative though :P

Seems both sides are equally cowardly...

Children teaming up on and hurling random insults on someone only for their amusement may be wrong, but the old lady didn't defended herself enough. All I have heard from her is weak blame and clogging in her corner, attempting to wait till the storm passes.

She should have stood for herself instead of leaving herself open to their insults. She should have pummeled them intellectually (or physically) and said exactly what was wrong with their behavior, or at least go and complain about that on the bus driver.

But prideless, conflict-fearing people don't do that.

If I was in her position I would most likely have struck a few of these kids. If not KO'd all of them.
To be fair, it was a matter of respect and she herself would be in trouble if she beat up the kids (though I'd do it anyway). But yeah, she should have complained to the bus driver. She isn't really at fault though compared to the kids. I can sympathise because it was an unprovoked personal attack on her.
