If you made that with mostly stock parts then well thats fricken unbelievable!

Dear fellow GTM members,

Today shall be remembered. For it is the day someone has earned himself the title of replica king.

Replica Prince would be better.
Oh, i know!
Replica Czar.

Wow kid, you're unbreakable aren't you?  I did try Twn Trwn way back when, it came out lookinkg like the stock bot alarm, with a skull in place of the hammer and snakw clipart for a skin.  You are the undisputed champ of static replicas.  I really gotta hurry on my bot replica for hellofaces tournament before i fade into obscurity
Sonny, you can NEVER fade into obscurity. My replicas are inspired by your work. It is true we build our replicas differently, but you HAVE the title of replica king, and NOBODY will ever take that away. I still have much to learn, from BFEing to skinning to even AIing, and these replicas that i have created were only possible because of everybodys support.

I ran out of ideas for my stock showcase, so i finally decided to begin a DSL showcase.
First up is an experimental full body drum spinner named Rolling Pin Of DOOM:

And the innards:

Next is a robot that i NEED assistance with, Metallicus:

And the innards:

The main focus here is Metallicus, Rolling Pin Of DOOM is really just a show bot.
I need some ideas, desperately! :rage

Agreed. I may be good, but ressetti can SKIN his bots, something i may not be able to figure out.
I am Rather EXTREMELY flattered about being replica royalty though. Maybe Ressetti and I can work together on something, aling with other replica makers, and make something truly legendary. :gawe:

Pardon my double post, but it's important.
I've only thought up of 2 new robots, and they may be the last ones i will showcase in a while, for I intend to do a DSL showcase.
So here they are. First, my signature bot T

And the innards:

And here's the truly vicious Death Grip:

And his innards:

That's all for now, be on the look out for a DSL showcase of wierd, ineffective bots.

This was my first go at using custom components. (Darkpack for the robo servos, multi extenders, and concrete blocks.)
This was my most difficult replica to design, so I am very much appreciative of all your support. It's all about believing yourself.

I want to see a Tornado replica but with its scoop instead of drum.

Since this replica thread is in the custom showcase... I think it might be time to spice things up a bit.

Yo Tommy, that Snake rep. use any custom components? if not could you puit it on the bot exchange? Would like to play around with it.
Nope, it's all DSL components in the NAR AI. I'll download it soon. ;)
But first, I'll work on a rather interesting suggestion... :laughing

I think that it would really help if we were to give more expansive descriptions of stock AI, in a style similar to Robot Wars Wiki.

Here's to let you all know i'm serious:

MAN! He's FAT!

Now, let's do snake, shall we? :gunz:
Edit: Got snake:

Also, i'm very sorry if I sounded rude in anyway when responding to Ressetti's advice.
I've noticed the quality of my replicas have gone down when taking others suggestions, probably because I'm not quite that ready, so I'll hold off on that until I actually have experience.
I do hope though that some others will give a go at making replicas, because this thread is my favorite one, and with some of my favorite poeple. :heart_smiley:

Never ask people to decide your next replica.  They're sadists, they'll make you do Twn Trwn.
Heh, i actually WANT to...
Still, i can see what you're saying.

Wasn't exactly what i had in mind...

Here, this is the DSL replica modified with the scoop:

And as a bonus, here he is with both spike configurations:

Next time how about aplica that's never been done, ok? ;)

Rusty 1.2 could use a few more weapons. Put some more on by using the side points on several 20cm extenders instead of one long extender

Is Sit'n'Spin'n'...Stuff invertible?
Yup, and it was pretty hard to get the chassis height compatible with Z-Teks and use Shinies.
I'll be presenting us 3 ALL NEW robots as well, each very different in design.
Stay tuned! ;)

How articulate is it?
It rotates, has two JX bursts in the arms that let the arm work like the real thing, and butters toast.
I'd say it's reasonably articulated.
And again, thank you for the comments, but now i want YOU poeple to decide what I will replicate next.

Whoops, thought i had posted these earlier.
I've made some upgrades to S.N.S.N.S and Rusty 1.1:

S.N.S.N.S is MUCH more compact now, apparrently, i didn't need snapper loading for the weapon to be put together.
I'll try iron spikes next update, so don't worry.
Here's the internals:

Here's Rusty 1.2:

And his internals:

Thanks again to everyone for the advice, keep it up!
I'd also like some more forum members to assist, so that i have some more variety in opinions.
