Honestly that IRL bot is really cool. Very good use of replica parts.
DSL S bot looks very good too. There are still some good DSL S builders around. Personally I really like Virus Bomb's designs, as well as martymidget's.

great work there dude!
and sonny, what's that flipper constructed from?
It's DSL3 armor plates. You can convert them to TGA's and basically carve out pieces.
So if you were to show the collision meshes with F12 you would still see a rectangular shape? That's clever, I hadn't even considered doing that.

Leave it as it is I think, just to make it a bit more interesting than most flat arenas.

You deserve those because you're an awesome dude!
Thanks man, you're pretty damn awesome too, and well-deserving of your own awards :)

Wow... Best Bot Skinner, Best Skinner, 3rd in GTM Unsung Hero, 2nd in Best Advice, 2nd Most likely to stay on topic, 2nd Best IRL Builder, and GTM's 3rd Favourite DSL Builder. That's a lot of stuff. Thanks for voting for me!

What did you enlarge the skin to? I do most of my skins at 2048x2048 but that is a bit overkill, especially with a simple design. 1024x1024 would do you fine. But yes, other than improving the skin a bit I think you did a great job.

Sounds pretty good. I've already heard the stuff on your soundcloud, and I have to say I really like your music. Looking forward to hearing the rest of these tracks Also, out of curiosity, what do you make your music with?

Looks interesting, and actually not unlike something I was trying to build for Robots in Space. Your design got further than mine, though. I'm afraid I don't build stock enough to offer you much advice, however I think this weapon design would work better if angled. Maybe use blue snappers to achieve this? Also you could get a little more weight by using the 140cm square extenders rather than black extenders, since the 140 square extenders only weigh 5kg.

Not tried it yet, but it looks really cool, nice work. I'll give the skin a try too.

I really like it, but I think you should increase the resolution of the skin, else the text looks really pixelated. That drum robot and teeth bot look pretty cool too.

When you want to post pictures of the updated bots put them in a new post in this thread. That way you and others can see what progress you are making with each update to the bot. Also to present your images better please crop them, as per this guide: https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php?topic=2143.0On both robots remove the back armour, because it isn't serving any purpose other than a waste of weight, it won't protect you from any attacks. If you want armour put it on the front, because that's most likely where you'll be taking most hits in a battle (or at least where you want to be taking hits, so that you can also deal damage yourself). Also the weapon on Shredder passes through the perm making the robot unrealistic, so just use the other attachment point of the perm.

List looks very comprehensive to me. This should be very useful to people, thanks for doing this.

Very nice, I like the use of the spike strips. As Red says fake pistons would be a great addition.

Castle Crashers sprite looks very cool. Can I suggest The Kid from IWBTG as a character?

One thing that. Kinda bugs me is the flags aren't connected on that spinner.
Good point, can't believe I missed that. Added a hex plate to fix that problem a little bit:

Thanks! I don't really know how long it took I'm afraid, because I've been working on it bit by bit in the evenings for a few days.

Here's another robot, this time using a re-skinned DarkRat's shell spinner, along with re-skins of the hypno tooth and ronin flags: The off-centre attachment point of the shell spinner meant the chassis couldn't be the exact right size. Eventually I'll try to fix that in the .gmf. Another picture:

For new awards, how about the "Member that people were hoping to return and did" award or something like that?
This sounds like a good idea to me, since IMO 'Most Missed' could either be someone who hasn't returned and is missed, or someone who has returned and was missed while they were gone.

Looks interesting, I see three pistons in there. How well does it work?
