Alright, everything seems to be fixed. I should be able to record, edit and upload Heat D tomorrow Wednesday.

Weren't there a lot more robots in the Stock version? Anyway, I predict Storm II, Sir-Lance-A-Frog, Wheely Big Cheese and The Ornament to win their respective heats.
You do know the first 3 heats are already up?
Ah, I didn't expect them to be. Are there going to be more than 4 or is that it?
There's definitely going to be more than four but I have to update the heats as each one goes by. I just need to be handed the necessary custom components from either Jonzu or Resetti and then I can finally get this going. I was told I was given everything but, apparently, that's not the case.

Sir Chromalot has custom flags and uses FireBeetles earthquake burst motor.
Roadblock has Firebeetle's Chicken motor.
Revolution 3 has the Chicken motor as well, and some other custom parts/reskinned parts.

You can get Firebeetle's parts here: http://beetlebros.gametechmods.com/files/zbbudc.zip
Thanks. I knew these bots used custom parts but I never got any.

General Support / Some robots crash my game when I import them - SOLVED
« on: August 25, 2014, 12:48:55 PM »
I have recently taken over Jonzu's tournament but, for some reason, some robots crash my game whenever I import them. I have tried these robots on different versions of RA2 (robots are intended for DSL 2.1) and I can't get them to import properly. Could anyone test these robots out for me and check to see if you have the same problem? As I believe it may just be me, for some reason.

I find it weird how Revolution 3 won't work with me but Jonzu has used it before. I have asked Jonzu and Resetti himself if there are any custom parts or other things I need to get these to work but apparently I have everything I need already and I see no custom components in the folder Jonzu sent.

You should only put up the SBV Thread when you're ready.
Yes, I suppose it was rash of me. I wasn't anticipating some IRL things to impede progress though. I'll try and crack down on the robot importing problem.

The tour sounded awesome, dude. Big Nipper and Alien Destructor look very nice. Can't wait to see more replicas.

When it comes to pullbacks, I would say that I have every single one, to my knowledge. I remember being really happy about getting Stinger one Christmas, no idea why but I loved Stinger back in the day. I also had two remote-controlled bots, Tornado and Sir Killalot. I don't think the SK's arms moved but I found them cool as a kid anyway. I had two arenas, one for the pullbacks and another for the mini figures I had (the mini figures were cool but broke too easily.)

I have all the DVDs, to my knowledge. I have a VHS and a DVD of the first World Championship.

I have Arenas of Destruction and Advanced Destruction. I don't have the Extreme Destruction ones, it's sad that Extreme Destruction is probably the only original Xbox game that won't work for the 360. I have some of the battle cards but I think they're in the loft.

I have a decent amount of books but they're in the loft with my pullbacks (and I cba go up there), so I don't know which ones I have. I remember having fun reading them, though.

Reading through this post, I never realised how much of a RW junkie I was as a kid. Good times.

Existing Games / Re: Interactive Buddy

I remember playing this (or something similar) as a kid. Like Naryar said, it's fun for the first few seconds. If the only reward is more ways to play the game and those ways get boring after a couple of seconds themselves, then there's no reason to play this game.

Don't watch anymore horror shows, for starters. Try going to sleep with white noise/rain in the background (playing on your phone through headphones.) Maybe even ASMR if you need to take your mind of it by listening to someone's voice. Hope this is helpful.

Well. That's the thing. It's often because im curious and I can't stop myself. Ill try out listening to rain.
Don't be tempted to watch it. Try giving yourself something to do whenever you want to watch a show that will potentially deprive you of sleep, even if it means reading a spoiler online to make sure you don't watch it.

I may ask this to go to signups soon but I won't do it in next 4-5 days as I am meeting my family in Birmingham and I'll have to settle with a cr**** laptop if I wanted to do any RA2 stuff.

You could use Taco's new arena if he lets you.
I don't know what that is.

Edit: Oh, the Action Box. Nah, I don't think I'll use it.

epic showdown
I suppose I could use that for the final.

I'm not moving this to signups yet as participation for tournaments in general seems to have died down and I doubt 7/7 people will end up joining this.

You don't need to put the things that are outside of a folder into a folder, if that is what you mean. If you mean that nothing, at all, is in a folder, then that is a bit strange.
