I really wish DSL Tread motors were more powerful, neither this or Nemesis can move to be honest.
And, for the first time ever, I want to say I wish Judge Bursts were more powerful. But that's because I overloaded the 1 this HW has.


Note: I have edited the tread motors .txt on my game to be as powerful as a regular npc, but I tested in a clean copy and wow, soooo sloooow.

Yeah, the Rule of 7 as we know it can't be gotten around through the game, you have to learn how to edit bot files.

Hahahah...
A few component clashes in the import over from DSL to RW RA2 but this is the size of the thing compared to Behemoth, which itself is massive.

(Got some crazy collision mesh issue holding the back slightly off the ground too but you get the idea)

Yeah, you'll need to learn to BFE (bot file edit) if bots from both packs use a component with the same name that is actually different in some way.

Thanks Nar. Not quite sure myself, especially with the general lack of comments, but we'll see. Will try run another version up sometime.

To tide over some time, I edited Anaesthetist to make it suitable for BB11, since I've wanted to enter it into stuff for ages but it's never happened (Mainly FullImpact never happened). Beta handle and Dominator spike.

Before you attempt something like this you NEED to understand how RA2 works. Otherwise you have to learn it all as you go and it's a massive uphill battle.
Renaming the teams in the AI folder and adding more does not tell the game there are more teams there.
The Bindings files need to be combined - The bindings.py file tells the game how to control each robot. It's this file that AIing is based on.
The Teams.txt files need to be combined. This file tells RA2 what teams are where.
Once you've understood this, we can start to get to grips with the harder (sort of) bit, understanding how components work.

I'd rather have the arena in the first place.

Sometimes you can't have exactly what you want all the time, and might even have to put >3 minutes work in to get what you want, unlike this example. Quit moaning. Please.
