Some "Fun Facts" I just dug up

2/4 May BOTM's have been won by me
2/4 May BOTM's have been won by a Servo Boosting Crawler
3/4 May BOTM's were stock
(Thus my only wins in May have come from a Stock Servo Boosting Crawler)
The Last time a Servo Boosting Crawler won a competition was BOTM May 2010
My record for May BOTM's is 2-1
My first 2011 BOTM Win

Challenge Board / This Place is now Clean

It took an hour and a half but its clean

This place was massively neglected and looked like a dogs breakfast... (No offense Sage)

You will notice the new discussion topic, deletion in the rules / leader board topic and a lot of locked topics

Here how it works from here..

* Leaderboard is allowed comments but will be regularly cleaned out so Scorps isnt in a mess (LMK whenever you want it cleaned Scorps)

* All completed topics were renamed and closed, In future once challenges are completed they are to be renamed in the following format..

<Username> vs <Username> (<Username Wins>)

Usernames should be exactly how they appear on the forum (no abbreviations, etc) and Everything to be in the correct casing as above (no putting everything in caps)

This is just to keep it all neat and really legible for people that must process results.


Everyone please do your part to keep this nice and tidy, once a challenge is completed and renamed as above the thread will be locked to signify this (Any staff free free to help out in this area)

Well as requested I will upload a video sometime of course (bet you all want CCIV videos before that though) but the general rule of thumb with all my servo boosters still applys..

Since most need specific sequences of controls, etc to "Engage" I dont upload the bot file to prevent people complain that it doesn't work when the operator is at fault.

Id say you would have to prove it at some point or be stripped of the win..

At least I treat it that way when I explain my robots on splashes.

Madiaba mentioned before about just raw video samples of robots doing what they say they do (so no fancy editing or anything)

I was actually going to film my robot and anonymously upload it to the GTM Youtube account as proof but didnt get the time since I built the robot the day before voting started :P

All Joe has to do to win is make something with servos LOL.

Its the only department im skilled at..

I just make all kinds of strange things and keep trying to have them do something cool.. then make a final robot based around that.

Actually I was watching videos of my Synergy / Unity Servo Boosting just before I came up with Engage

#8, #9 and #11 all had a "Sage style of Splash" so it made it hard to figure out who was who :P

NFX usually has the themed splash with the jokes

Yeah ACAMS just enabled the "see results for those that voted" option.

I didnt expect to win actually..

Thought more people would act like a 5 year old this about it..

(honestly if a new way of combining Glitches isnt great, I dont know what is?)
