I'll get to work on those after my tournament is finished which should hopefully be next week.
Next week? Maybe you can ask someone who has some spare time on their hands to AI. Would that help\work?

Hey ILT(I like tacos), would it be possible if you could make a couple components? Nothing too complex really, just decorations and stuff like that. Also HF, I got THREE robots ready to be AI'd: Grunt, Cruella, and Cunning Plan: Grunt's in the MW category of bot exchange, the other two are in the lightweight category. BTW, these bots are DSL.

YAY! Thanks guys, I've got two robots ready to be AI'd and skinned, I'll get them soon. A lot of Series 1 robots are gonna need some kind of custom component, or at least a modified one. I'll make sure EVERY participant in this mod gets the credit they deserve.

Ok, it's time I do a modpack. This is a list of things I need help with: .Making custom components .Making skins .AIing .Making a replica of the Robot Wars Series 1 arena .Making awesome background UI My MAIN goal here is to make a modpack featuring EVERY competetor from Robot Wars Series 1. I'll work on most of the replicas and managing the creation of this modpack. Please spread the word on this modpack, it's about time I do some REAL work here.

Fit another ant batrery in and you have an antweight. Upgrade the armour and you could get a beetleweight or lightweight.
also tommy, dont use npc fasts for a lw.
unless it is a joke robot.
Sorry, just thought thats what Naryar would do. As for little dragon, all you need to do now is just make it invertable, or at least lower to the ground.

Thanks guys! It wasn't a serious bot though. Next up... ULTRAHEAVYWEIGHT!!! Stay tuned...

Well, you've improved chassis space and batteries(though you need one more for the other motor), but there's still a few problems: Balance castors shouldn't be placed at the front of the robot, that makes it more vulnerable to wedges. You have a LOT of weight left(over 100 kgs for a lightweight, 15-ish kgs for an antweight, 65-ish for a beetleweight). I'd suggest more armor, like titanium, and better drive, NPC-T64 Fasts and Hypnos. Use blue control boards, they're more lightweight. Nonetheless, I personally like the theme behind this bot.

American Division Predictions:
Goat of Doom: Very solid bot, I also love the name. Could go far in the tournament.
The Patriot: Can't say for myself if it will do well. I probably should've came up with a better name, but whatever.
Whirlytonic 2014: Looks okay, May go far in the division.
Nice Shoes: Rats. Now I'm gonna be considered a copycat. Ah well. Maybe the armor can help it do well.
Reaver: An Axe/Sawblade combo eh? Unique, but not much else I can't much say much about this one in the division.
Spaulding 2: Another interesting and unique bot. I'm assuming it's purely for show?
The Termite: I love how the replica is made.
The Judge: Looks a bit light, but then again it's the first version of The Judge.
These bots are looking pretty good. Good Luck everybody! Can't wait until the British and Other divisions.
I think I used Steel 10 on The Judge. Nonetheless, It looks like I'm screwed. I would be AMAZED if it won a single match! And good luck to you to, RedAce! Good luck to all!

A fireman is at the station house working outside on the fire truck when he notices a little boy next door. The little boy is in a little red wagon with little ladders hung off the side. He is wearing a fireman's hat and has the wagon tied to a dog. The fireman says "Hey little boy. What are you doing?" The little boy says "I'm pretending to be a fireman and this is my fire truck!" The fireman walks over to take a closer look. "Little boy that sure is a nice fire truck!" the fireman says. "Thanks mister", says the little boy. The fireman looks a little closer and notices the little boy has tied the dog to the wagon by its testicles. "Little boy", says the fireman, "I don't want to tell you how to run your fire truck, but if you were to tie that rope around the dog's neck I think you could go faster." The little boy says, "You're probably right mister, but then I wouldn't have a siren!"
That kid is MESSED UP.(The little boy)

Thyrus, if you don't mind custom components getting involved I can sort you out a few parts for robots if you want such as 'Fire Storm,' 'Panic Attack,' 'Hypno-Disc mkI,' 'Blade' & 'Trident.'
Any little helps doesn't it?
That sounds good. Though, I'm kinda thinking about making a RW Series 1 modpack. Would you be willing to assist me? All I need are custom components.

I personally think you should start with IRL designing style, since it's more simple and easier to master, plus it looks cooler.
Don't give advice to what people should do, it's their choice. If you choose IRL, that's fine, but let people do what they want. Besides I'd argue my latest SHW looks cooler than most IRL stuff.
My apologies. I probably should just hold off on advice for now.

The issue is, this is a BIG mod, and would require an ungodly amount of work (something I didn't note when we were starting this project 4 years ago), and if you look at the first post... most of those contributors hardly ever visit the forum, and those that do may not be interested (I know I suck at replicas so I couldn't continue). What I personally would suggest to you is build up a big pack of awesome looking replicas, and then create your own AI Pack/mod. Usually I'd tell people not to do this but usually people just want to make their ordinary bots into a pack nobody would download, whereas most people like replicas. So yeah, if I were you, keep building, then maybe learn how to AI those bots and create your own awesome replica pack :)
Now THAT'S an idea! Thanks Craaig. Maybe I'll make a Robot Wars Series 1 modpack.
