I`ve already edited it in my first post but I think Motorstorm should be on the racing game list
and maybe the Star Wars Jedi Knight series could be worth mentioning
Yeah, that's true. Issue with Jedi Knight is that it's very Doom-esque at times.

What madman said. Also, RPG needs moar Final Fantasy. Kinda seems like you rushed the list a bit.
Final Fantasy isn't really that good compared to the other RPGs to be honest (at least IMO). 7 onwards lack the important factor of engaging characters.

I disagree; I thought that IX and X both had engaging characters. I'm sort of a FF fan-boy though so my opinions will probably be biased.
That's fine, I really hate Tidus in X though :P

Pwn first round? I'm so dead. He's got the front weapons to slow me and that hammer.

The RPG category seems so thin on the ground, and most experience Bioware-ers generally don't think that Mass Effect is the best there. Throw in Baldur's Gate or Kotor in instead.

Also, Diablo doesn't quite fit the hack and slash category, especially when compared to No More Heroes. Chuck in Madworld or something instead.

Zelda fits the Adventure category far better than the action category. Considering Arkham City's more sandboxy nature and the nature/mood of the games, I'd swap Arkham into action and Zelda into adventure.

Also, Resi crosses a few genres. I'd put 1-4 in survival horror and 5-6 in Zombie games.

I'd just generally expand each category to 5 games because several groups are severely lacking in room for choice and good games.

I've learned that the only bot where a small chassis is truly better than a larger one is HS. Anything with wedges loves the stability of the larger chassis, baseplate-mounted drive, etc.
On HWs at least.
Being smaller makes it much easier for HS's to hit drive motors or wheels. It's just not really that good a trade off.

Export that sucker into a new team spot and the AGOD may disappear.
Looks good though.

Bear claws weren't allowed, so ice picks were the next best thing, but I guess no one wanted to opt for that either.
That's because the weapons available favours hammers and rammers because of the single-directional nature of their attacks and width making them better suited to using the best of the available weapons. HS that are severely weakened compared to their normal counterparts due to the weapons they use and their size don't really stand much of a chance, especially with the strong chances of being pinned.

Just noticed Kurt for the MW. I think Logan and Ty are in a slightly dangerous spot if they face him.

Mike in the HW and Suede in the MW? I might beat Mike if I manage to knock him up and gutrip him and my bot's fairly wide and he's got a small weapon radius, so that may go okay.
Suede is basically a matter of whether I can outwedge him. I've got more damaging weapons (LDS teeth) and more of them, so that may be an advantage for me, but he's got more protection.

Wow, something predominantly British that Madman's actually supporting  ^^
I'm rooting for South Korea though :P
Though I'm guessing that supporting Team GB would make me a facist according to you?
No, just a bit too hopeful :P
and slightly nationalist

Kimi and Grosjean did a good race today.
Great race by Lotus in general. I'm really surprised they haven't won yet. I reckon Grosjean might actually get there before Kimi does.
Kimi's got the advantage of experience and has got a bit of an edge to him, so he may be very soon in line for a win.
He's also very capable of getting someone who becomes slow at the end of a race, like Alonso.

not especially funny

Currently watching men's football. GB is going well, UAE's been good when they're on the offense.

I've been watching cycling, which was decent.
My parents are heading to mens' hockey tomorrow, hopefully that should be good.

I don't really see the point of counting the team scores. It's obvious that the  first-world country with the highest population will win, because it has more people to choose from.
Not really. The reason China wins pretty often is because they're extremely passionate about doing well in sports. We have far more people than some other competitors, but chances are we'll perform only averagely.

Betas are the only real way to get seriously powerful IRL flippers, although in standard DSL it's possible to get 8 BSGs in a HW, fully powered (I used battlepacks for each BSG, since that powers them perfectly), which is very strong, or 4 large JXs, which is a bit more exposed but is powerful. 4 BSGs and 2 small JXs is also a decent flipper setup on a HW.
