If you are doing screenshots you can not have the game in full screen you have to have it windowed.
i can do screens in fullscreen just fine idk what the problem is

Most of the parts in the bot lab seem to be HQ versions of RA2 parts. I see the mace, spiked club, car steering, z-tek., battle axe...
tribar, plow, and those wheels might be fatboys and rubbers too. also notice the bracket wedge, air tank, piston, mallet, CB and RA2 poster in the background haha.

welcome back man :)
looks pretty solid, I'm a little worried on if you have enough weapons though. it's pretty easy to outdrive the AI (its dumb as rocks), but if you enter tournaments we use AIed robots completely so you can't use driving skills to get around that. you need as many weapons as you can in that situation.
also since AI goes straight at each other and doesn't flank, you may find this thing get annihilated by gut rippers. you may want some longer teeth to at least have a chance of knocking them away. if you press f12 you can see the collision meshes of components, and hypno teeth have a very small one. otherwise, good job.
I'm not sure if you've noticed yet but DSL 2.2 released, it has a lot more components and better balance and stuff than 2.1. I'd give it a shot.

finally some screenshots!
dude this actually has potential. didn't think I'd ever say that. steam workshop support will be very good for this kind of game.

Would anyone be interested in a small (8 player) standard IF tournament? Probably HW, BO3 double elim. I feel there aren't enough standard tournaments these days.
definitely

Man, this stuff is soooo good.
You've got a crazy eye dude, that sense of proportions, facial expressions and mmh I can't quite describe what else I perceive but it's all so good, it's.. It feels kinda loose yet deliberate, sometimes carelessly rough, sometimes very focused and smooth and some other times you seem to just allow yourself to be sloppy and still get a result you (at least I) can feel, I don't know, it's impressive. Also your physical skill at drawing...
How did I not see this before? Looking forward to seeing more from you.
PS. That hungry robot you posted earlier kinda fits the current theme.
hey thanks bud, that means a lot to me. really. honestly a lot of that "deliberate carelessness" comes cause i draw really fast. and one of the reasons i draw so fast is i kinda get bored easy with drawings. i love doing them but I'd rather do 10 quick ones than 1 long good one. when i work on the same piece for too long it just gets stale and it is oddly inferior to the ones I just draw fast usually. like this thing for example took me like 2 mins max. contrast this with something i drew when i was like 14 which took me an actual month to do (no joke) and theres a big difference. I don't really know what happened, just one day I just started doodling and I got really fast and never did anything like that again really. actually i think TF2 may have helped my drawing skills believe it or not. my hand eye coordination just got so much better after playing those types of games, maybe being a couch potato wasnt a total loss after all. I'm kinda out of practice right now but I also used to have a pretty good eye for motion (though drawing it was more difficult, i did do those pictures without a reference though), i dont have a perfect photographic memory or anything but I can remember most motion with people and stuff if that makes any sense. like I could recognize my friends out of my far peripheral vision just by their walking movements and I can make up "videos" in my mind in real-time with people and stuff. the skill's faded a bit compared to what it was a few months ago for some reason but I think i can re-train myself again. also one of my favorite artists is yoji shinkawa who obviously does this kind of thing way better than I do. anyway. you seem to have a decent grasp on this yourself, do you do any art stuff?

I like it. A couple things I'd do though are make the perm less exposed (just angle it a bit so a popup cant one-shot it, you'll find a setup), and I'd honestly make the wedges shorter. I know this is risky cause wedge effectiveness is the most dicey thing ever but itll help you when you pin a bot against a wall and suddenly can't get close enough to hit them cause you're too long. I'm also not sure how much the armor is actually doing. you may want to mess with it and use the weight for something else if there's not much of a difference. Probably chassis armor. el generico sucks it gets immobilized way too easy
