Aug BOTM was kinda boring unfortunately This is why it doesn't feel like I truly won, as I wasn't up agenst cool people like Click and Joe. Now the time I entered Sonic Rainboom, THAT would have been a win.

i got a few kills and 3 items... nothing that special Nobody ever really cares that much about what they find, unless its something cool and/or was recently released. Everyone just stockpiles there weapons and crafts them into better ones. Or just stockpile enough to get a hat. Thats how I got my Attendant hat, as people sell it for 3 Ref. (Despite taking 4 Refs to craft it)

Personally, Ive always liked Little Metal Friend.
I like it's concept, and the way it was built, but when you battle it head on.... It just auto-dies.
Metal Friendhas the strange issue of not actually using their motors or bursts assigned to their weapons when in a battle.
Its because the AI that's assigned the them doesn't allow them to do so. And Ive actually seen Dementia use his weapon. The smartzone for it is just weird.

Just looking at this showcase reminds me of the Armadillo days...and trust me...the current state/quality of your bots are more than satisfactory compared to what you used to try and build on the old forums...good ol' days...
My old robots were flat-out terrible, with the exception of like 1 or 2. I think Kill still has Ancient Clock, but that might be stretching it.

Not every BOTM entry has to be combat efficient.
I am in complete agreement with this, but for an artbot, the giraffe was pretty bad. If it had a decent skin, then there might have been more of a reason to vote for it.
IT'S NOT AN ARTBOT. IT'S A JOKE BOT. It's funny. That's why it won. That's all there is too it.
This. Joke-bots don't need a decent skin to begin with, if its just a flat-out wacky build. ...Kinda' like that dinosaur I made for that other BOTM.

Felt like playing around with the whole "HURR DERR PINK-POWERED"-concept:  Originally I had planned for this to be a HW, but said screw it and wanted it to end up as a MW. I'm probably going to end up re-building this from the ground up, but use either a nifty or 1 black instead. AND OF COURSE, THE WHOLE DRIVE IS OFF A SINGLE SNAPPER, YET AGAIN.

But TF2 IS an mmo. You explore the vast battlefields in order to gain achievements and collect weapons in order to buy hats.
