Well, I don't see everyone with rep powers exploiting it, so why not just restrict certain people from being able to affect rep?
but the thing is it would be a pain in the butt to do all the time and it would be "subjective" etc, because nobody would stay consistent in their rep quality. its much easier to just ditch it. either everyone should be able to do it or nobody imo. but everyone getting to do it would be a disaster so just don't.

the problem isn't so much whether it's accurate or inaccurate, but that it's way too easy to exploit. and as there's no way/reason to moderate stupid reps there's not really much of a point for the system at all.

disclaimer: no flame wars please. I know you people. keep it civil. anyway what is the point people are just like "lol its rep who cares why its here!!!". Yeah it's dumb and ineffective. So...why have it then It doesn't achieve its intended purpose, to show members who is respected and who isn't - which in itself only helps newbies who don't know all the users yet. But right now it's completely useless for them because of people just rating people randomly for "lols" ie andy currently has 14 for instance. if someone has a legitimate point to keep the rep system that's fine but if your only reason to keep it is "because its funnyy xdddddd" that's a lame excuse. Valid Reason — Things like “’cuz he’s cool” or "'cuz he's not cool" are not valid reasons for changing someone’s reputation. If you want to change someone's rep than please say what they did to earn their "cool" or "uncool" status. The logs will be scanned on a regular basis to ensure that people are providing valid reasons for changing someone else's rep. It’s all fun and games until an administrator sees it and decides to take away your rep powers. yeah like anybody's done that in the past 2 years. of course with a system like this people are going to abuse it and its almost impossible not to because there's no reason to anyway. that was like the entire point of the racecarlock episode was to show how pointless it was if people somehow didn't know already i couldnt care less what my rep is or what anyone else's is because i know it's moot, but frankly i'm in favor of doing anything to make this forum less easy for stupid people to be stupid. right now it's just a vent for petty people to click a button and take it out on their target or just a lame avenue to spam memes and crap. as it is the only ones who may be helped by the system are the ones most likely to be hurt by it. I'm all in favor of removing it.

making it smaller was more to get you weight for other things like wheelguards, but using a 4mag may be all you need for weight. the spinup time will still be super slow though but there's not much you can do to fix that with a disk that size

need that up to like 797 or more every time. Think about it this way, a bot with more weapons/armor/etc will beat the same bot with less weapons/armor/whatever.
few things:
needs to be invertible. Just use a bit larger wheels. as is if you get flipped you're doomed and it's a very easy fix.
the main thing though is you need to optimize your weapon a bit better. I know it's for the challenge and chickens are not very good anyway, but still. I would open up the angle you got your drills at. right now your inner drills will never do damage to your opponent - try to make it so they all hit at reasonably the same time, this will do more damage.
I'm also concerned that your top skirt isn't really doing anything and may hurt you. if it was invertible I'd kind of get it since you'd be going for a double wedge approach, but even then it seems to me that all they'd do is keep your weapon from hitting the opponent. tbh I'd just get rid of the top skirts and use something else, perhaps a plow or something to keep the opponent from sliding over the drills.

Its a cool idea, but you need a dedicated skirt wedge of some sort beneath that. Keep the flipper as it is, just add a skirt under it like you see on other bots. A sideways wedge like that is fine for flipping but will not be as effective at out-wedging opponents. Trust me, if you face an opponent with a decent wedge he will get under you with your current setup.

on undertaker you could make wheelguards by rotating the light panels out so that the inside touches where it does now and the outside part goes past the wheels like this  also on some of my bots I axle load a DSL disk outside of the wheel and it works pretty well actually. its realistic imo because you could just add a shield on the wheel irl. I really believe in ironforge you don't need insanely powerful weapon motors. in DSL you could put some weaker weapons on a duel perm and stay reasonably competitive, but the super high HP of weapons relative to their DP makes it much harder to knock them off compared to DSL, generally making it better to have more weapons instead of a powerful motor for your weapon imo. in other words I doubt you need a 6mag. It takes forever to spin up with whatever you use due to your huge disk, i actually might shrink the entire bot a bit (disk, body, maybe wheels) and using the extra weight to make it tougher in armor and weapons. it looks very fragile to me. I doubt making it a bit smaller would hurt its effectiveness. it would be pretty easy too, most of your bot is extenders anyway. also shameless plug but download my ironforge AI back those bots are tougher than the default ones :Pnix is cool but I can see its slow drive hurting it. looks great though. so is phoenix. what is the tail attached to?
