Every change we make to the system suggested so far will just make mountains of drama and/or be tons of work to manage
The system doesn't do anything helpful despite what some people are saying, just ditch it already

unlike DSL/stock chassis armor in IF is actually pretty decent so it's not bad to have a larger chassis
weapon looks pretty good but yeah it needs to be wider. longer maybe too.

first few teams in the ai that comes with ironforge are supposed to be irl, then there are some more standard "normal" bots the the teams named after bot types.
also I might add that I have made a standard AI pack for IF linked in my sig if you want more bots.

I find in IF that you generally don't need super beefy weapon motors. the HP on all weapons are so high that it's generally better to have more weapons than weapon force.
but yeah what badger said too. you might want to play with making the bot wider and using slim motor drive as well.

im just so sick of always being on the garbage team there is sort of a ranked system in tf2 matchmaking, it should help at least a bit i assume? and at least in comp there's SOME degree of communication

i hope to the heavens above that competitive weeds out the garbage players, I am sick and tired of where every match i join my teammates don't own monitors and the enemy team are all seasoned assassins with 0 ping

haha im sorry about that man. i'm fine with scrapping that win for me and letting GS send in another one if he wants (or just do a new match), I mainly just wanted to try my bot out anyway.
I have similar problems fighting the house of starts bot on the party time team, it almost always crashes.

ill probably lose, my bot was some weird experimental undercutter thingy that isnt good against wedges and i didn't test much anyway
i like it. little worried about using razors (read: FRAGILE) but seems nice other than it might be flanked pretty easy with that shape and slower drive.

im against dlc period but it absolutely CANNOT be anything that interferes with creativity I.e. components something like dlc arenas would be less harmful but isnt extra stuff what modding is for anyway? a major worry of mine if they use dlc is they will try to limit modding to make people buy it and that will absolutely kill the game long term.
