This is my bot for the assbots competition -that's a thing now.  I call her Spring Cleaning
(Image removed from quote.)
That Flame Dancer is worth a fortune, mate. I'd take it off your bot if you don't want to waste money.

Alright, I better bump this for interest so I don't end up leaving it too late. Also, I have other stuff to do, so let's get this out the way. C'mon, guys.

*Edit* Also, starting from now, the tournament will accept no more entries 7 days after the last entry (today as of now). So, the deadline is the 20th unless someone sends in a bot, then the timer is reset. I don't mind hosting a 4 bot tournament but it will be a bit of a let down.

Stock Showcases / Re: Tibsy's Failcase

I know I've entered this blindly. But really, I'm just looking for a bit of fun, what's wrong with that?
Nothing, but the main point of a showcase is to get some points for improvement so you're bound to get some advice, even if you're just building for fun. Even though you already entered your bot, you can still take 09's advice for your future bots instead of saying he's 'kinda late'.

I know I'm not the best at Stock but being honest all this is making me want to never bother with it, I'm considering deleting this thread anyway as my heart just isn't into it.
If you don't want to improve your stock skills, then don't take advice on board and do your own thing, no one is forcing you otherwise but don't make constructive comments put you off making bots.

Actually, in the time I have free today, I have made my lightweight (the only bot I'll make) but, depending on when the actual event begins, I may or may not be there.

Oh well, looks like I'm not entering this one, then. I may do, if I have time, but it's unlikely. I'll enjoy watching the first wars and see what standard I should be working towards in the meantime.

EDIT: Would you allow the BBC to be my sponsor?
massimo doesn't care about the sponsor decals, its just some dumb rule freeziez's made up and that he left in
Could we just abolish this rule or make it optional?
It's already optional.

The skin is definitely awesome, for something so simple.
Thanks. Yeah, I really had to compensate with the skin for a lack of weapons and stuff.

Alright, so I have never really been serious when making bots and the process in making them wouldn't really have much thought or care into it. When making bots in the past, I would probably either be bored or drunk, leading to very lackluster desgins. 'La Magra' is the first, I would like to say, serious bot but I went for a VERY simple design just to start off with. In other words, this bot was made to test whether I can make an effective wedge, whether I could make a very fast but controllable bot and to test my skinning skills. I think I did fairly well with what I wanted to accomplish with this bot. One thing that bugs me about this bot is that the chassis goes above the tornado wedge and it doesn't look good. I know I can remedy this by rebuilding the bot with a slightly shorter chassis height but I don't think it is worth it for a bot that I am just starting out with. Also, I was going for an IRL look, is there anything that doesn't make this IRL? I will definitely start to try and make more IRL bots with different and more complex looks but, with what's going on in my life right now, I settled for a wedge/ram bot for now.

Weight: 398.5

Any and all criticism is greatly appreciated.

Since all matches have reached to the point to where I can make four videos or under, they will now be in 1080p, if you don't mind.
Why would anyone mind? It's not like your forcing them to watch it in 1080p.

Since my school blocks Imgur I can't see the splash, but the brackets and such look good :V
I'm surprised your school hasn't blocked GTM.

If you tell yourself that you suck, your bot building will suffer. Just try to stay positive when making bots or whatever else you may be doing and think about the cool things you can make with the right mind set, such as Raven.

To be honest when I get the time to I might delete this thread. All my bots have just sucked, I'm not having as much fun as I was when I created Raven. Maybe I'm just some 'one bot wonder'.
If you're not having fun building bots, just don't build for a little bit and then come back to it when you have more ideas. Don't delete your thread because you don't get new bots perfect or up to your standards on the first try, just take comments into consideration and increase your building skill over time.

Heat J is a short one:

That might be it for a little longer. Don't worry if nothing happens during the rest of February because I'll definitely be back on this in March.

I've outright forgotten what I sent in for this tournament.
Bia.

Elementos. DeineMutter7 was his original username before he changed it.
Really? Wow. I'll change his name to Elementos then.

*EDIT* Also, I have done the AI and match recordings already and I'll do the rest on Sunday, if I can.
