Of course it would get blown out of the water when Ireland sends Jedward and and we are all left going "HMM I WONDER WHO THAT COUNTRY IS"
It would kill diversity in the competition as all countries would be trying to sound like everyone else to avoid negative political voting against them.

It would be interesting to what the standings would be like if it was Jury only for this one.

Why was israel even in this, isn't the whole point of Eurovision to be in Europe- Azerbaijan is pushing it enough tbh xD
It's whoever is in the European Broadcasting Union.

Theoretically Jordan, Kosova, Lebanon and Libya could participate.

Yeah, he did his best, it was a shame he got a bad position to sing and the song was never going to win anyway.

I think that there needs to be some restrictions on songs being released beforehand. Euphoria, for example, as brilliant and deserving to win as it was. Was released and had success in Finland, Israel, Estonia, Norway, Romania, Iceland and Belgium beforehand. Who, coincidentally gave Sweden 82 out of 84 possible points. Other countries which I thought could have done were only released in their home countries and didn't do as well. Like France, for example. They came 22nd. Last year? Same story for Azerbaijan. And before that? Lena had success in everywhere form Austria to Slovakia.

My top 5 were, in no particular order:

-FYR Macedonia
-Russia
-Sweden
-Moldova
-Turkey

I'm glad Sweden won it. They just had the best song in my opinion. Surprised Engelbert did as bad as he did, though. He was better than Hungary, surely? Not winning material, admittedly, but it didn't deserve to do that bad.

You guys thought I ran away, didn't you? :P
I thought i'd ease myself back in after me not playing for a while.

For War of The Giants. Because a flipper for a low walled arena? So original.
It needs one of my world famous blow hand paintjobs and some way to eat up an extra 100kg. 2/3 hinged spikes on the front maybe?

I use Gimp and it hasn't failed me yet.
Just turn off RLE Compression when saving, RA2 hates that.

Funfact: The last time we performed from the #1 draw spot, we won it with and the main singers moustache. Engelbert doesn't have a 'tasche, but he does have some pimpin' sideburns. So you never know.

According to this site, Russia are 9/2 to win in some places. They also have a spinning Russian stove on the stage with them and that always makes everything better.
I'm gutted Israel didn't get through in the first semi final, I liked their song. Denmark wasn't bad either. Montenegro, on the other hand? Utterly dreaful. It was a tramp with some backing dancers. And Latvia was like the baltic version of Desperate Housewives. With added name dropping. Mick Jagger? Paul McCartney? Johnny Logan? Really?

And to watch the semi finals I use the Official Eurovision Website. Extra bonus is no commentator talking over it.

Cartoon shows I hate? Ren and Stimpy.

I have no idea why people keep on hating the new CN. I mean, Regular Show, Adventure Time, and Gumball are actually pretty decent. Stay late enough and you get Courage as a bonus.

Agreed. And after Courage, you get Cow and Chicken!

There must be a better place to mount that camera on Sewer Snake, surely? Rather than screwing the robot over if flipped.

Good news: voting for the awards for the UK FW Champs 2012 is up. The bad news? You have to be a FRA member to vote. That narrows it down to a handful of people here then. Me included.

You should have renamed Murphy's law "The Black Knight" after all the hits it took. :P
