Seeing as I can't reskin components despite how simple it is, I've decided to go full vanilla. This is my 'tribute' to the bot that never got the chance to fight~ Yeah... I'm about to get ripped up to shreds now :3

A lunch box which I never put lunch in:
Wow, I completely forgot that existed! That was my lunchbox for ages.
I had a pencil case where I stored my minibots.

Unfortunately my RC conversion of the X-Terminator II pullback toy has seen better days :/

I think I have a whole crate of robot wars stuff in the attic... Hmm, I'll go look over the weekend.

After looking at the RC battlebots toys, I feel envious. Robot Wars had RC toys sure, but a lot were just the house bots... It would have been nice to have the competitors who deserved to have RC toys of their bots... (Besides Tornado, can't think of any more)

Hahahaha how bad did this guy get speared?
That replica looks great
I think it might've caught him in the leg or something, nothing life threatening. It was this reason why the Sumo (among a few other events) was cancelled... Oh and the robot failed to qualify for Series 3 & 4 before they returned with Hot Pants & their antweight, Pants. And thank you.

You might want to put this in the replicas thread, but I guess this works.
I remember making a More Pandamonium rep ages ago and let's just say yours is better. I like how you tilted the piston like it was irl.
I do say I am a derp at times... And I was afraid of being chewed up and spat out there ;_;

I thought about making a replica, so I decided to think up the easiest competitor bot: This is More Panda Monium, the robot responsible for cancelling the other events during Series 3 because it was dropped and suddenly it fired its spear which injured a crew member, this prompted Rex Garrod to leave Robot Wars until safety was improved (Rex never did return). So yeah... I tried to get the top as realistic as possible but meh... The skin does annoy me... Oh well, opinions on my first try at replica making?

Retitled the thread Tibsy, hope you don't mind. Would be a useful thread to have around - might move it to Real Robotics Discussions at some point also.
The only Minibots I didn't have were Gemini, Tornado and Firestorm, still got the rest in fair condition, as well as all the pullbacks plus RC Matilda/Sir K/Bash/Tornado and all 3 Pitstop kits. Also had some BB stuff, mainly Grip 'n' Grapplers. Frenzy was my favourite.
You read my mind dude xD There were so many bots they could've RC'd, especially Dominator 2.

Here's my minibots collection, taken from this thread: https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php?topic=16017.20 Ugh, camera problems meant I only just got the pictures I said I would take. Still, here they finally are. There were more minibots, but these are the only ones I own. I've also given my personal opinion on every minibot since I don't have a fancy website of my own to put them on :P
Chaos 2: Not a fan of this one really. Seems too thin and long, and the back isn't very detailed at all. Hypnodisk: Also not a fan of this one. The chassis is weirdly shaped, not rectangular like the actual robot. Just makes it look far too cute for one of the most destructive robots in Robot Wars. Pussycat: I dislike this one the most of them all. For a robot that's supposed to work all sides up the minibot is completely ruined by the stupid pullback function all of these minibots have. At least the disk turns around, unlike on Hypnodisk. Panic Attack: The paint and details are fairly nice, but suffers from the cuteness syndrome Hypnodisk has. Suicidal Tendencies: I like this one a lot. Painted nicely, and the claw actually moves.
Wheely Big Cheese: The wheels look pretty bad on this one, and again the pullback thing ruins a robot that was supposed to look the same either way up. RefBot: Quite nicely detailed and painted, although the face looks kinda dumb. Scores bonus points for having one of the arms move, and then immediately loses those points because the other arm does not move. Plunderbird 5: Claw is quite nice, and it's paint is fairly good, but the claw was unfortunately a bit flimsy, so is currently held on by superglue. Razer: The Razer logo is nicely painted, but no effort at all seems to have been put into painting the crushing beak. None of the holes in the crusher are there, and the eye is just a tiny dab of red paint. Also suffers from warped proportions due to cute-itus. Shunt: Not sure what I think about this one. The plows are done nicely enough, but the axe doesn't move, which is very disappointing. Also had some sort of antenna at some point, now lost forever.
Dead Metal: Very nice paint job, and a really nice mold, although seems a bit smaller than it should be. Scores points for using the pullback motor's wheel as the disk; if you're going to have a terrible action feature on your toy, then at least use it creatively. Wild Thing: Nice paint, and the disk even spins. I like this one a lot, but I'm not fond of the wheels that are part of the mold and painted on. Matilda: Painted very well, with pretty damn good detailing. The lifting forks actually lift as well, making this one of my favourites. Dominator 2: Simple but effective. Painted nicely, and the axe swings, although the spikes on the front of the chassis should go further back in the middle to be accurate. Mega Morg: My favourite out of all the minibots I own. The lifter actually lifts, and it has a very nice, bright paintjob, with the metal at the front done particularly well, in my opinion Nice, problem is where I came from they closed down the toy shop which sold them (Chadds). So far, this Dominator 2 minibot is the only one I got left. I'll update this if I find more...

My dad and me had some trouble putting a new dishwasher into an empty space under the counter, no matter what we did, it looked crooked in its space (a corner was cocked out) when I went under the counter to see the problem, I wasn't expecting to see this: Which makes me think, as a kid I don't think I collected ALL of these, did anyone on GTM collect all the minibots? Also, what was your favorite piece of Robot Wars/Battlebots Merchandise?

I'm not disappointed about not winning. I'm more disappointed because I drew with PLAYZOOKI of all people...
Seriously?
