Professor Alien > Everything. Including Avalanche's bot. My bot would destroy yours, and deserved your spot in this second poll.
Yet somehow got flipped out by my inferior flipper?

Simple, but effective. I like it.

Stonebaked doesn't look invertible, and Excelsior DEFINITELY doesn't look invertible.....Heavy Metal might actually have a shot at making the final. EDIT: Looking back, my depth perception is poor. Stonebaked IS invertible. I'm stuffed.

It's a hard name to work a pun with, but I'll change it.

Cool name but tbh I don't think it fits.
I was hoping the slotted steel would look like the shell of an armadillo.

Nice SFTW skin lol.
I would personally use small wedges as apposed to flipper segments at the bottom of the flipper.
I guess I could see how it looks. Kind of wanted it to look like a kind of forklift design, but I shall experiment.

Right, that'll do.

Did I get any IRL building votes, out of curiosity?

Side skirts?
Could do, but it would; A - probably obscure anything on the sides that I want to skin. B - definitely take it over 600kg. I could try and shed a bit of weight to try and make it happen, certainly.

First ever attempt at a 4-bar lifter. Or whatever you call it. Before I skin it, any improvements that should be made?

I feel I was VERY lucky to get through that round. Carnivore was kicking my ass.

Is Lift-Off! still a CW?
It was always a HW.

Why not make Pendulum a heavyweight (just for the tournament), as the Hworf blades would be allowed?
Because I really like Lift-Off!. It showed potential in Battlebots and it has the chance to chuck stuff over the walls now. Plus it'll look awesome when a spinner inevitably tears the many flippermakers apart.

Pendulum isn't allowed to rustle any more jimmies in Rob's tournaments, so I guess his successor has to try and do the same Last Rites BS without actually being as good.

stronger clamp, both in motor and in extender.
Which motor would you suggest? It's currently using the cheatbot Razer one.

....moving swiftly on from the ballast debacle.... I tried making some sort of half lifter/half clamp, but I don't think it looks very realistic. Anything I should do with the skin on the wedge to sort it out and make it look better?
