I think you could do better if you made it more to scale.  I mean, look at how big that thing is compared to the roll of duct tape. That bot is bigger than my computer desk (damn I have a small desk).

Make it bigger and I think you can get more detail into it.  Also, the spikes wont look so darn huge if you make the chassis to scale.

I primarily play RA2, Left for Dead, and Battlefield 1942 these days.  I just re-installed Guild Wars... but I am not sure if I will get back into that.

Going to get Blood Drive soon. Went to Gamestop yesterday to pick it up, but they sold out.  Gonna pick it up Monday or Tuesday at a different store if I can find it.

If you do another tourney, keep it simple.  Just have a basic 16 bot double-elimination with no extra crap.  If you succeed at that I think people will respect you a bit more.

But, take a break for a bit though.

I know. But I need redemption, quick.

Don't worry about quick redemption my friend.  One thing you will discover in life is that human beings are really stupid creatures that forget pretty easily with time. Fall out of the limelight for a bit and chill out.  Respect will come in due time when you host a tourney later.  Besides, a bunch are being voted on now anyways, so you gotta wait.

Maybe host a few of the challenge matches?  That is an easy way to get some redemption. Unless you screw that up. :P

Lucky. Why did you get the day off?

I had 3 tests in one day!

I've been working 6am to 8pm for most of the week. My second job had a bunch of new work that had to be done by the end of March and the final week was just crazy.  :P

But, got it all done and now I can chill out for a while.

For those of you getting your feet wet for the first time with SHW class. I would like to direct you to my favorite location to obtain an anti-ballast.

Only use 1 of the weapon systems.

Not really true.  I think what Mr. Freez means is you should focus on just one weapon system for your bots while you are learning.  Once you are proficient with that you can start building multi-weapon system bots.  There are plenty of decent bots that use multiple weapon systems, but you should learn more before doing that.

You are learning though!  It will take time and lots of critical feedback, but you will do just fine.

Thanks for all the congrats!  I appreciate it.  Building that thing was harder than it seems... took forever to make the chassis just right to fit the side wedges and look realistic.

I voted for Vertigos bot.  :D  'tis pretty cool.

El Chupa is on the bot exchange now.  Download it and try to kill other replicas with it.  Pretty challenging and super fun.

People need to learn that the best energy in life comes from knowing that the only person that truly needs to accept you is YOU.
I find that accepting myself just makes me worse. So I try to change myself instead (I'm not succeeding, but still) *nods*
If I can change myself, then maybe I can become someone who can help others more. But to change, I can't accept myself.

Anyone know how to get rid of lonlieness? It's getting really annoying >.>

As long as you are changing yourself in a way that is acceptable to you, that is o.k.  If you change yourself solely for the benefit of your peers then you are not solidifying your identity... ultimately this will make you feel lost.

This is kind of an obvious answer, but to rid yourself of lonliness... you should immerse yourself in social situations that are enjoyable to you.  The internet doesn't really count, because there is no replacement for human to human interaction.  It is far more stimulating and fulfilling.  If you have trouble accepting yourself, finding a proper social situation might be hard. Based on your hobbies and interactions here I would highly suggest getting tickets to the next anime convention you can travel to.  When hanging around people with similar interests, you gain strength by feeling part of something. Even if you are attending but not interacting, it still feels good.  :3

Happy birthday to Sage. I got you the most efficient cake I could find.

(Image removed from quote.)

As sage would say... It is not efficient enough.  It needs 36 Razors and 3 stacked blacks.

Happy birthday Sage.  :gawe:
