that one is a lot more space efficient but there is a weight waste on those spikes, so drop them and either take out a pink or 2 and bring in down to a lightweight or add another weapon system and bring it up to a 390kg middleweight

remember always build to the limit

I would recommend going in to infogames file in your program files and copy the entire RA2 file and rename it from copy of robot arena 2 to something like robot arena 2 dsl then apply it to that copy

if you add a large number of additions to the one ra2 it will run slow

welcome to the world of GTM and showcasing :-D

first helpful hints are as follows

dont make axes like that it is a terrible waste of weight a DDT burst motor would be much better section

there was also no need for that 90 degree angle extender for the axe the red plastic could have been attached to the edge of the disc

the best wheels are shiny hubs try to use them as much as possible

plan your bots ahead and make a chassis to fit you bot, not the other way round, air tight chassis are the way to go

supervolts are the best battery's for heavyweights

Sounds good, and since it is a democratic decisions, any flame wars may be less intense.

Can you also add "Top 10 SFTW Builders" to that?

would that cause cause more issues ? I mean some people take it with light heart but others may find it insulting

sounds like a good idea, I doubt I will make top 10 on any though lol, maybe put all the ladders in the one thread and get ACAMS to pin it, maybe to avoid stalemates no one can nominate then selves and perhaps justification for the nomination so its not just favoritism

the video shows the effectiveness of some of the hazards include how it can interrupt robots like SnSnSnSnS

one issue is I dont know how to edit the rw arena

the pit isn't useless as the qualifying bots can be quickly dispatched if the pit is open

the hazards arn't completely useless the flipper in the rw arena is really powerful and has caused upsets in testing

RedlineM203 is completely right about the pit, robots get a wheel caught a drive back and forth in circle motions to get unhooked leaving them open

and if a robot doesn't flit down the pit but is also stuck in that position they will be counted out

remember it sure beats the combat zone from clash cubes 1

anti pit devices (APD) it was a name for the very controversial frame that tornado used against razer in the series 6 final and again in extreme 2

APD's are completely legal in Clash Cubes 2.. the drop zone can do a fair bit of damage if it hits the bots chassis
