The rw thing is changed. Battlebots count as well (however please don't just go for battlebots competitors, make an effort for robot wars bot). Also, Robotica and other robot combat show bots count (of course similar to the robot wars, battlebots robots - not the show Chris Jericho presented)
The main reason I didn't want bb robots is because I think they're overpowered.

1) No you can't fill in the gaps with your own entries. You can provide 'byebots' shuffled in but not serious entries. Ok, I'll enter with 4 altogether to reach the limit
2) Banning BattleBots is completely dumb (and I grew up in the UK with RW) - there's a lot of American's etc here who watched BB not RW. If you want entries like you say you do...
3) The weight limit for Ironforge HW's has been mentioned multiple times in this thread and is even in the IF loading screen - all the component weights are halved so the limit for a HW is 400kg - yes the game will still say Middleweight but you ignore this as we can't change the in-game definitions, it's a self inforced rule which improves the game - makes all the motors more powerful in comparison to the bots.

Ok, I'll change it to 1-4, will this mean that when signups are closed, if I don't have enough entries I can fill the gaps in with my own? Only RW because I'm not a fan of BattleBots so much (Not that I hate it, but avoid it whenever I can) and I've changed the limit. Could I do it any more? What would be a sensible weight limit?

The techniques Ounce mentioned can be used as long as the robot is still IRL.
