easy way is to use a T connector on your piston then grab the black extenders and click the green point on the top of it and connect it to the t connector then click the bottom green tab and connect another to the previous black extender, at the end you will find they are all facing the right way.
to overlap weapons on the game wire the piston then grab something like a iron spike move it to the position on the extender but don't click. then fire the piston while holding the mouse in the same place and click before the piston retracts this will place the spike somewhere inside your bot floating in the air after you do it to all go to the garage and back and you have overlapped weapons

that isnt a bad idea... not one for the world championship (I think their should be 0 restrictions except for weight class and components) but a good one for another tournament... Pwnator you know how to AI right ?

I do like the octagon arena except for the fact when a robot ends up in the upper area the other AI usually falls down a pit, any other arena ideas ? I just thought the combat zone as it is like the main RA2 arena....

first off I don't just write all those steps out for the fun of it, I do it to help out people since I am putting in the time I would appreciate it if you didn't write things back in CAPS I personally take that as somebody shouting or making out that im stupid, perhaps a "thank you for your help but extract is not appearing when I right click the file" would go down nicer :-D anyway try reinstalling WinRar as it should appear when the file is right clicked (make sure your not talking about having WinZip installed as it is a different program) but if your really sure its installed then you can try the free trial of this http://www.bitzipper.com/how-to-open-a-rar-file.html comes with instructions and everything

that is the point of this thread lol dreaming :-D though if replicas of all robot wars bots were made a mod could be made to do something similar, I personally think that RA2 is more realistic then the robot wars games (seriously what point of RA2 do you drive around with a bear chassis as all your armour got knocked off)

imo for a robot arena 2 world championship it would have to be stock heavyweights in the combat zone (maybe just add a little world championship logo under the RA2 logo)

DSA - double strength aluminium
it is as strong as steel armour but as light as aluminium (aka the best armour in the game) to get it simply skip the Armour button all together (yep that’s right don’t push it at all) and your bot will automatically gain DSA

changes:
the power pulse battery weights 9kg
the petrol motor draws only the same amount of power as a standard z-tek (not the hp z-tek)

I only assumed as its spin up time was faster than normal imo and it got speed wobbles before eating itself up.
anyway thanks for the comments I keep saying this is the last one, this is the last one. but managing to get 24 people (including some big names) was not an easy ask and it really makes me think that this will continue (thinking middleweights next time around :))
