Storm 2 was the last world robot wars champion, I think. that would be correct, never got a rematch against Typhoon 2 since it got eliminated round 1 due to spin up failure

I actually like 2 the best but with only the logo it looks to plain (just don't really like the boxes) but otherwise I would say 3

gravity & behemoth vs Psycho, Growler & Cassius was one of the better ones with technically all house robots got defeated, also the first round melee of the series 7 veterans/all stars tournament with Firestorm, Panic Attack, Cat 3 and Bigger Brother was good.... Shunt was over in the first 5 seconds lol

I thought the RW franchise was sold after series 5 anyway my local broadcaster cut RW part way though series 5
Robot Wars Extreme Warriors was a small series which was a US version with mick foley it featured the UK house robots
Robot Wars: Nickelodeon I believe was still uk but it was censored for younger viewers (killalot had to be k)

HurricaneAndrew: yeah I have watched loads of battlebots on youtube having missed it at the time it was on TV, a local broadcaster had Robot Wars and no shops ever really stocked Battlebots Stuff.

Robot Wars - Hypno Disc, Razer (since I started watching) Typhoon 2 and Storm 2 were cool bots to (who doesn't like a rammer that gets robots oota)
Battlebots - Warhead, Son of Whyachi and Nightmare, also like Surgeon General

reinstall ??? before trying to fix the problem I installed a fresh copy and applied the 1.3 patch .... that's it then added tornado in... I did get the same problem you described before but then after I wrote out that line it was working fine. maybe send me a copy of your AI file in the form of a .rar or .zip via pm and I will see what I can do

the second version of the frame with the flywheel was ok but the first it just seemed so stupid beating a robot by pushing it around

exactly :-D *sigh* why does Matilda have to be such an incompetent worker lol, there are rumors that the tornado frame lead to the breaking up of team Razer but its exactly that ...rumors not really facts
I personally just don't like pushers (that is really what tornado was) in competition like this, I mean destruction is the aim of the game pushing is just to boring (with one exception ... storm 2 was an awesome rammer, even got steel avenger out of the arena)
Edit: Happy Middleweight H@zm47 :D

nice looking bots, like the originality on some, appreciate the space management but these appear to be DSL in which case should really be in the DSL showcases section (this place is for stock creations) it is really nice to see another west Aussie however :-D

the newer house robots (non BBC I think) were rubbish, Killalot was really overrated, shunt was always a personal favorite but as time went on axes wernt that effective, Matilda was really dangerous with the flywheel, dead metals saw blade was really quite good but for some reason didn't cut for long periods of time only little knicks (I think it was to aviod jamming the saw) and Sgt Bash had fairly effective jaws but the flames were basically for show.
Battlebots was good as there was no easy way out... no pitting, no oota but most bots were working on the basis of kill your opponent before you get killed and as a result saw big weapons and not much driving around
both were unique in there own way, I grew up with robot wars so I have always had a soft spot for it but really im just glad that there was so many different competitions to watch.
