1st option .. you dont need to use Alarm so just keep putting them in the game and never try a match with a stock bot (assuming this is a new RA2 install for this tournament)
2nd option... apply Starcore 3 to your stock ra2 and the bindings file is set out the same as DSL 2

feeling a little annoyed at my loss, I am very sorry, I was just a little disappointed only just loosing in the first round, you guys just need to bare with me a bit. fixed I dont know who that post was directed at but either me or Pwn it isn't acceptable I would like it if you did not fill up my tournament thread with rubbish like that, accepting loss and respecting others will go a long way

the issue was COID was physically in the pit NOT suspended over it, the game only registers which bot touched the pit floor first but remember robot wars a robot could be on top of another and be pitted
Edit: haha pwn beat you again

I looked over the video loads of times and came to the decision that both robots were pitted so it was declared a draw, at that point one robot needed to be eliminated so it was a count back on points which Yayoi won

yes I did nick a few ideas from bbeans .. well they say you have to learn from the best :-D
it is the F10 cam and was my intention to zoom in by some spinner robots lag the game if zoomed in to close so I needed a further shot, S32's and LRA2s do lag it on closer camera...
I have checked LRA2s robot a lot as I do with everyone, I tend to use the combat zone (no lag) and control the opponent to the bot im testing this is no I can avoid the bot and see if its nose and everything is working

the arena isnt the problem it was the fact that some of the stock components had been upgraded to DSL level while others haven't, I just copied the whole arenas file from DSL 2 to my Stock
also if you have the 1.3 patch use F10 and you can move the camera view anywhere you wish by using the right click for up down left and right.... scroll for forward and back.... and the left click to pivot
dam I take it that I just got stripped of my final placing

well they do say self admittion if the first step to recovery lol
basically LRA2 i suggest you read this carefully and take it in,
as many said I suggest you slow down a bit and work on basic building skills before going any further, start with stock and go through everything on the beetle brothers website and learn all of those techniques then move into DSL
keep your posts as on topic as possible and say away from different colour text or increased sized text
if you show effort towards this others will put in the effort to help you with your building, modifications and tournaments
best of luck to you

for a robot is a drum the size it is Invertible would be your best bet, I know its stock but look up Drumble Bee in the RA2 wiki for an idea

that's why I did the arena change to mix up the battles more, S32 did beat Yayoi's bot practically to death in a previous match but then there was a havok that sent S32 oota

I only just watched the matches now and I must say I'm full of Underestimated Dark Horses, nobody had faith in my brawl of the builders bot because it lacked wedges yet it was able to manhandle them and now the only static wedged pop up :-D I sure hope MV did record these in stock and there is no need for a do over
only major problem with the video MV filmed was no HUD it would have been nice to see the health of the bots and when they are eliminated

sorry cant say when that will be .. anyway on to the task at hand, S32 vs Yayoi is now up so is the review... encase anyone missed it below the review is the winner of the match in white so you can highlight it and see who won if you want to, also the points tally is in white on the first page
also sorry the bracket couldn't be any clearer but basically click on S32 (in the green box) for this match and so on in that patten for others

BMP images can be opened in virtually any editing program you wish
TGA images need to be opened in a program like photoshop, artweaver, photoimpression or gimp (although i don't recommend the last one)

I think we have all learned form this experience
not to blame the AI.... they may have not feelings but there doing their best
maybe not lash back at someone so hard
and HurricaneAndrew played robot arena 2 in 2001
anyway all that aside, the 3 matches will be coming soon, one will go up tonight, S32 vs Yayoi I believe and the other 2 not far behind it
