It did happen at first, I promise :P there's a small bug in the events txt for those events. There's a fix around somewhere if you search for it :)

Maybe most annoying needs a reword to show how it should be taken as a pointer for the future and only for those who aren't intentionally trolling/annoying.

Yeah, new members have been thin on the ground this year. Should hopefully change next year. As for tournaments, its never really been stated but I'd guess it should be finished really :P

Thank you but that felt very much like a hollow victory as Newton and Fhqwhgads (the eventual winner) got basically DQed for being stuck.

Here's 2 of the matches I'm a lot prouder of.

Round 2 Match: Headbanger vs Mr Snappy 2 vs Newton

Watch for me dying in the background at the end :P
The white sides were foam taped on to defend against Newton. As a funny joke I scrawled Non-Newtonian Solid on the side of them.

The Annihilator: 15 different bots that I'm not going to list out

A unanimous decision from all 3 judges (Shane Swan, Ed Hoppitt and Andrew Marchant) gave me the win, and I couldn't be prouder.

First competitive tournament and managing to win the annihilator and getting to the quarters made me feel very good. :)

I'd encourage everyone to really emphasize online multiplayer (ra2 needed badly) and the ability to easily mod (ra2's lifeline)

Exactly what I did.
Except I also moaned at the lack of hammer/axe in the favourite bot bit and said make Beta possible and effective :')

Worth putting this one up too, before I finish a full build/event report.



Mr Snappy 2, Mr Snappy and the new chassis for Snappy Senior (the old Robob chassis for anyone that may remember. Immaculately welded mild steel).
Planning to get it running over the next few months, and upgrade bits as we go ready for the 2017 FW Champs.
Also coming soon... plans for AW Snappy, BW Snappy cluster, Mr Snappy 2 alternate attachments (front hinge anyone?) and possibly eventually thoughts for Mr Snappy 3 which I don't plan to build until the next BW champs comes around seem as though MS2 has worked so well so far.

The way you wrote it implied that all i have ever done is sh**post in chatterbox. The only reason i dont contribute to the forum is a complete loss of interest in ra2, along with a lack of interest in robotics atm.

I get you, genuinely didn't mean it like that so sorry :')
