Modifications / CCAI Release & Competition« on: August 12, 2009, 04:32:58 AM »![]() it is recommended that you apply this to a new dsl 2.1 patch for the background for those using a resolution that doesnt match up the menu you can download it here, just specify the location of your DSL2.1 with CCAI and hit unzip and it will install itself into your copy of CCAI http://filefactory.com/file/ah1a8eh/n/CCAI_1_1_Patch_exe Full information on this AI pack can be found here Now I guess your wondering about the competition ? well basically you could have the chance of winning the following prizes ![]() these are replica components (the description was actually copy and pasted off a website selling these motors) and they are a bit faster then normal E-Tek motors but fear not as I have tested then and they dont glitch like crazy. how do you win one of these you ask ? basically I have hidden a message somewhere in the game and you have to locate it, it could be absolutely anywhere... so your not completely lost I have an image of where to find the message... only its completely warped each day I will unwarp the image a little bit thus relieving the location a bit more, this will happen for up to 5 days until the full image is shown, the competition will run until someone can notify me of the messages location and tell me what it says anyone can join in and there is no limit to guesses (but please dont spam with stabs in the dark) first person to find it gets themselves a prize that is legal in Clash Cubes 3 Final Clue: ![]() 11023

mine is likely going to loose first round.. it was more of a fun bot thats pretty to look at rather then combat effective

this site as mentioned above http://beetlebros.gametechmods.com/ra2techs.htm is your key to stock building it is full of usefull things to try out to improve your skills.
also DSA armour is the best thing yet... Quote Double-strength aluminum armor. This is a handy little glitch that gives you armor as light as aluminum, but stronger than steel. also dont forget you have 800kg of weight at your disposal so use as much as possible :-D 11033

not really appropriate considering we were on the topic of Gyratory Reborn when Condor said it
Edit: not a whole lot longer to wait, I just have to AI Urjak's bots and Mine and then test & tweak everything 11034

CC3 will be DSL MW so basically everything on the teams will be moved down (except the lightweights) and put in there making it a proper AI Pack format (LW, MW, HW, then 3 extras)

Other Tutorials / Wedge testing: What's under RA2's best wedges?« on: August 11, 2009, 02:57:51 AM »
I think as click mentioned before it comes with placement too ... also you have to build a bot to back up an awesome wedge so I dont think luck will be on the table

Tournament Archives / Doomed Bots« on: August 11, 2009, 02:53:50 AM »Quote from: pyscolone;58836 Thats pretty lame IMO, unless it has to go in order of the row his bots are in, which isn't as lame. Also it doesn't have the same internal parts. everything is the same except 3 robots have a second ddt next to the original but other then that its just what is on the ends that are different... I dont want to get in an argument over it as I respect you and your opinion but it seems that the going way is that is someone makes something different from normal that can provide results it is considered cheap winning ? Sage got it from BBEANS 5 but really it was only another way of doing something ? its is nearly imposable to build something that can beat anything it will encounter in its same weight class so why criticize something when theoretically it still has the odds of losing ? anyway thats just my opinion 11040
Tournament Archives / Doomed Bots« on: August 10, 2009, 06:38:16 PM »
but I didn't ask a particular way for DK to splash them ? I dont think there is anything wrong with building something different... btw Reier its a popup first round
