I made a points based system for a 3 round match and there is no limit to your bot type the only thing is that a burst must be what brings your choice weapon into the path of the other robot (or as I explained before over the wall)

I think I understand the concept... he wants bots to obtain damage is they are hit in a small arena around the chassis so that targets would be larger without the need for bulky robots..
*turns to mad for confirmation.... no its more of a stab in the dark :P* I think a variation of smart zones could achieve that with some coding ?? say if the bot is hit in the smartzones it sustains damage ??

ok LRA2 mad solved your bots problem (not sure if he told you or not) but yeah.. are your sure you still dont want to use something else ? as I said before all robots are going to be AI'd very similar. Let me know
also 24 entrants still 8 places if anyone wants to join ??? (hopefully a few more and I can throw in 1 or 2 "house" robots to make numbers) I will leave it with a bit more time given a have a lot of stuff I have to catch up with

you can turn it over to someone else I think I am going to have to take this option ACAMS as I have been quite ill lately and as a result my online activity has dramatically decreased so if anyone wants to take the selection off my hands they are welcome to

Badnik96 talking from personal experience AI packs are a lot of work.. (and I only really had to make half of one) if your really game and know how to AI well then go for it :-D
but may I suggest an idea? there are a few (mainly DSL) AI packs in creation that are asking for teams you could always just submit to one of those ? Ribbs you still doing yours ?

Joe@I think you can make a py that spins the wheel away from the opponent so the pistons hit the opponent. who do you think I am .. Madiaba or something XD (just a joke so dont take offense) all entry's are going to follow a very similar AI system as I am trying to eliminate as many variables as possible so this tournament comes down to bots, I cant actually see your idea being very effective given how fast the other bots will be traveling in comparison, you best bet is to take some time and build another, I haven't even set a due date for bots yet in other news 9 places are still open for anyone who wants to join (I think a few people were still deciding on it) so if you name isnt on the first post and you would like it to be then let me know :-D

I still feel like a winner with 85th :P It was the first ever tournament I entered and it was a great way to really see how I started out and compare to how I am building today, a good start of the learning curve for me :-D and according to Pwnator 8 plows is the most ever been on a single BBEANS entry XD
