Got an interview at Manchester University on Thursday. This should be fun. Anyone else applying for unis in Blighty?
Yup. Got A*AA Offer from Warwick for Physics An offer from Nottingham for Physics (Haven't told me grade yet, probably AAA) I'm also applying for Physics at Imperial and Southampton, and NatSci at Cambridge.
I've applied for: Chemistry W/ Analytical Science at Loughborough (First choice atm, BBB) Chemistry at Hull (BBB) Chemistry at Kingston (Insurance, BCC) Chemistry W/ Foundation Year at Manchester (Interview tommorow, hoping for a BBC/BCC offer so I don't have to put Kingston down) Chemistry W/ Foundation Year at Birmingham (They were the first to Email me saying "We've got your application", but haven't heard anything since.)
So yeah, your choices make mine look a bit crap. :P Where do you want to go the most?
Well, Cambridge really. Though I don't think I'm quite there, I like Southampton a lot also.
Surrey looks good, shame you didn't check it.

I've got some 15 year old Nokia. Tough as hell and reliable but obviously kinda low tech.

He proposed the question. As long as I don't listen to it I'm fine with other's opinions.
Pretty much, it's his loss anyway.
Fine with other's opinions, but thinking his opinion is wrong. Hm. But yeah, my message wasn't even directed at you.
Well, his opinion doesn't affect me unless he somehow starts hacking my Spotify account:P It just has no influence on any of my own tastes and it's not as though I'm forced to listen to it. And why try and force what would lead to a potential flame war? Why not rec things?

and then i thought it was a HS that can transform into a VS
i am disappoint
I thought that too. Both look good but very SnS vulnerable with such weak disks.
lol it doesn't matter if the disks has 20,000 HP, this bot shape would get owned by FSnS anyway.
Besides, titanium skirts....
Yeah, that too. Still, would work decently against most gutrippers.

I used to be a bit of a mix when it came to my music. (But still hated a lot of pop music with a passion) But that all changed when I got a copy of Tony Hawk's Underground 2, in which I found the track that unleased the inner metalhead in me. "Liberate" by Disturbed!
And Morbid Angel with "To The Victor The Spoils" A great introduction to pure death metal.
Yeah TTVTS was a good intro for me. Vader tracks like Silent Empire and Vicious Circle got me moving too (well the remastered versions anyway). Try Cryptopsy - None So Vile, I think that's pretty much considered the best "pure" death metal album (along with Immolation's Close To A World Below and Suffocation's Effigy Of The Forgotten).

i have no idea why people would call non-figurative representations "art"
"Art" is a subjective term you know. What else would we call it anyway?
EDIT: I guess we could just call it graphic design, but isn't that just another art form?
Morality is a subjective term as well, but you can't possibly equal 2 different value systems due to them being both moralities.

For some reason Marty's IRL picture looks more girly than my deliberate attempt at drawing a chick...
Is it strange that I find marthamidget cute?
yes, probably because you're a girl
le ouch But wow marty you look odd man. NFX looks manlier than you by far and that says something. jks man.

The Hellion/Electric Eye - Judas Priest: first time I really "got" a metal song. It's still among my favorites today. Phobophile - Cryptopsy: one of the few death metal tracks I initially liked. Sure I'd been listening to Morbid Angel for a long time, maybe some Dying Fetus or Vader but this was the one which made me able to listen to them more attentively. Great song. Ethica Ordini - Enslaved: probably the first progressive black metal track I heard that wasn't Agalloch wank. anything by Waking The Cadaver: gave me severe kidney trouble. I blame this band for my two cases of neumonia too. Worst band ever. Radikult - Morbid Angel: made me stop liking Morbid Angel. Forever Failure - Paradise Lost: song that got me into gothic metal.

Wouldn't putting mags on the inside FSes be safer?
Yeah, they have a much lower HP than piglets, put them on the inside.

He acts like a 12 year old. What an asshole.
That was unnecessary.
This coming from the forum drama queen.
And yet you have probably started an unnessecary flame war. CEASE THIS FOOLISHNESS BEFORE IT GETS OUT OF HAND!

I don't know should I laugh or cry.
Scream in terror as Naryar will destroy you.
He doesn't scare me. I'm not afraid of anyone... I think...

How Tragic.
I tell you to stop the drama and you don't ? Don't go cry to me thereafter then.
I don't know should I laugh or cry.
Neither. All involved, cease this farce. This conversation is a recurring one and nothing ever comes out of it, so lets not have it at all.
Madman is right, just saying...
If I'm right, why are you continuing it? Stop right there fellas, get to a topic that isn't redundant and pointless.

also wow what did jonzu ever do to you gf. he's a cool guy so why do something like that
Basically, as a bit of a prank, really- all I actually did with it was use a password to switch his avatars around. I meant no lasting harm and mostly did it for a bit of fun. I must say, I've seen worse done with details and stuff before, yet according to here, it's a Moral Event Horizon.
Still, it's a kinda underhand move. Even if you didn't intend harm, pretty serious reactions occured. i just got back from the ****ing polls and i voted for the negro

**** no.
Oh, and 'gratz to Kimi! It's great that lotus have finally got a win.
Hey, would you rather have a horrible blue-ish mess that is based off a drinks company...
or a shiny red sexy beast?
Lotus is my favourite team but I have to cast them aside a bit for the championship because I don't want another Vettel dominancy.
I would rather Vettel win the next 3 championships than Alonso win this one.
And the Red Bull looks nicer than the Ferrari, IMO. The Lotus is the best looking car on the grid, though.
I like McLaren and Mercedes too, and I agree that the Red Bull looks better, it looks much more shiny and the blue looks sleeker. Also yeah Alonso is an asshole. I never quite understand why you guys dislike Vettel. When he's not starting from the front he's good, and he's amusing during interviews (like with DC today).
When he's not starting from the front he's good, but that doesn't happen. Over the last three seasons we've just seen him pull away from the rest of the pack without a word from him ever again. He's talented but his car is a major part of why he's dominating, and he honestly makes it boring.
Webber is talented too but he generally performs fairly inconsistently, while Vettel does much better with the same car. Sure, he's boring, but that's not really what he's there for. Red Bull has him so they can win, and that they can.
