Can somebody can send me a tutorial for GIMP, because I do not understand how to make something from complete scratch, meanwhile... what exactly are you trying to do ? decals ? because personally I tried GIMP and imo its not that great, now days when I need TGA files for RA2 I make png with transparency and use a batch converter to change the format to TGA with transparency. also one question on you bot, how straight does it drive ? it looks like one drive is a tiny bit more forward then the other? and as far as your turning to fast issues, you could always edit the turn speed in the bindings so it wont make turns to fast.

I hate you soooooooooooooo much...
EDIT: Damn you JoeBlo, I even tried to lighten the picture but it didn't work. still will take a good bot to beat it, the final result was 2-1 with Afterburner pulling that 4 second win at the end. basically this arena isnt a deathtrap or hostile environment for SnS robots but it evens the odds so now rammers are able to beat SnS's. so everyone shouldnt go thinking they can win the whole tournament because SnSnSnSnS can loose in this arena. it basically evens to odds for all bot types so hopefully this will open up more unique and new designs in Clash Cubes 3

I did wonder that as I tried to upload both CCAI and the Monster Mods v1 to the gtm download section and both failed

if you plan on modding a motor past the speed and torque or a duel perm the axle is almost guaranteed to parkways with the motor.
if you feel like playing around with incredibly fast motors I suggest servos as they tend to not separate the axles so much

I can possibly push that date further but I need 5 more people and I will expand to 32 (I can always add in a couple "house" jousting bots)
actually I just had a thought....I may as well join too so 4 more people at least for a 32 expansion with 6 places in total available

I made a custom component bot ages ago and It used backwards reaper blades on a disc and it was able to toss robots out of the robot wars arena very easy

I believe that Mauler 51-50 was a flail shell spinner. yeah it was, one broke off in the fight against bigger brother and that triggered the famous mauler dance

just a thought, you wanted the chassis small yet the collision mesh large right ? and you wanted to do this so the bots could fit into smaller places while still having a bigger "target" to hit? but (I might be wrong) if the collision mesh is large the robot will basically be that size in every way but appearance.. meaning the robot would still be large and still wouldn't fit in the tighter gaps??
...just a though :-D

funny, I was planning on doing something like that with DSL before I decided to do the jousting tournament.. I wanted like a realistic looking tournament meaning things like chassis wedges, no excessive armour, etc so they looked like replica robots (I had some of whams RR replicas in mind when thinking about it)

currently sitting on 24 which is enough to make a bracket out of
JD did say he would think about joining this if he saw a video (which has been posted) but I haven't heard anything and 25 would be a difficult number, so here is what will happen
entry's will now close at 24
if JD or anyone else wants to join I will need at least another 5 people before expanding to 32 and I need to be notified before 12:00 Noon Wednesday (GMT+8)

we could always talk to ACAMS to have those extra options added to the current building competition options ? you know how the winner of Bot Skinning Competition 4 got the chance to run the next one ?

THANK YOU ACAMS AND GOOSE. I've been getting sick of signatues with 10+ lines of text, and huge images. that was starting to annoy me me too (actually my own sig was annoying me lol) all the animations moving about was starting to get annoying so I changed them both to text

for every hour im on the computer you get up walk around and look at something that is a far distance (out the window or something) for 15 mins that helps to focus your eye sight away from the screen, doing that for every hour your on is good for your eye sight
