yeah thats why there was never an issue with it, I was just curious as I wanted to do something similar before,
also BFE wasn't actually outlawed in Clash Cubes 1 anyway not that it was allowed there just wasn't any rules either way, possibly because CC1 started out as a "anything goes" tournament but the idea wasn't liked as much as realistic

well its a case of this isnt an instant messenger its a forum, basically people respect others who take the time out and write out posts properly.
also we have members on here who have English as a second language so it will help them out a great deal using correct spelling
im not criticizing or anything (im actually a friend of Doomkillers from WA) just letting you know why people may get annoyed over the chat speak

Doomkiller got me into trying Online first one was on his server as the floor killed me really quickly?  and gave me some points  the other match we didnt take screenshots for but it was on my server, Doomkiller got a large lagspike and on mine his bot was indestructible for some reason ? Online Chaos is actually kinda fun :-D

that's better, maybe use the smallest mutli extenders rather then angled ones as they will be harder to hit and use hypno wheels to bring the hammers closer to the ground

try running the Whyachi Tribar straight off the motor and extenders on the ends of the tribar is also not a good thing, the second one of those is broken your bot will do a dance of the mauler variety

I dont mind. Its ture BFE is useful, but just try not to get addiced to it or you might find yourself using it on serious tournament bots too. I just have to ask did you BFE BBB to get the wheels through the discs ? I have always loved the look of that bot but couldn't ever replicate similar

your bots are looking pretty sweet but space management is something you will need to work on this is one of the best pieces of advice I got when I first started out and it really did help (thanks JD) In real life... a square bot with a ton of plating to protect the innards would be suitable for battle. With this game, its kinda the opposite. Anything you can put outside the basic structure of the bot will keep the precious chassis and even more so precious contents safe.
As an exercise, try to make the smallest chassis you can make to fit a battery/control board/and maybe a snapper or two, then see what you can attach to the snappers to make the bot mobile/damaging/and protected. This will teach you to congest things to a smaller chassis.
Because, remember, in battle... if a bot does a ton of damage to your chassis you are done for pretty quick... if the opponent nips away at exterior parts first before getting to the core, your bot has a better chance at surviving longer and winning the bout.
its a great help, try it out with Stock and then jump over to DSL as stock can be as unrealistic as you want

I havent played around with the SOW stuff much myself but Im guessing its possible, were you think of using a servo to pull weapons into place ?
if you were I may advice against that given swinging the weapons out unbalances robots, doing it right before impact doesn't really effect it but with a servo your robot will find the wall a lot sooner and build very little momentum to charge the opponent

also Viper, I never get mad or angry at people for no reason just talking normally so dont worry :) I understand sometimes reading things can be taken differently but always read my posts as happy :P
