I think it should become a general rule like "DSL is always realistic unless a tournament specify's otherwise"...
Crawlers should become outlawed in DSL unless a tournament specifically allows them
as for stock its really an anything goes version of RA2 so nothing can really be done to stop them

I wouldn't call a total of two AI mishaps "critical issues". Carry on. CC1... Ianh05's bot didnt SnS spin correctly Russian Roulette's bot I think was intended to SnS spin that was 2 mishaps from me in my first tournament and so one really cared, the only ever AI complaint I got was from someone (not naming names lol) whose bot was AI'd correctly but lost :P not forgetting.... as you can see from the last 3 pages (at least) most regular members on here do care about you :-D

sad to hear that TG, you still have a place until Wednesday if you can get something in if not this is how things are going to be worked out..
nicsan2009 and I have been talking though pm and he has entered a robot that will replace "Failious The Unclaimed" meaning no house robot
if TG you cant get something in not to worry Failious is itching to demonstrate its lack of skills to you all lol
also TriTon I will send you over a pm with my email address if you like and you can just email the bot file over, no need to worry about the zip, does that sound good ?

It has almost defeated JoeBlo's iron outlaw FL in an online match, against Joeblo :) yeah it did fair well considering you got lagged to death and then Iron Outlaw FL removed the wheels haha hmm that LW weapon variations concept seems similar ? haha

YOU MUST BE JOKING! I sure as hope he is  Yayoi it really doesnt matter, the only way you learn these things is but mistakes, AI is seriously a trial and error thing, I messed up at least 3 bots in CC1 but people dont hold grudges over it, its just excepted that it was my first crack at a tournament dont beat yourself up, everyone just has to keep it in mind that your a first time tournament host and these things happen, the video presentation is fantastic and your handling everything else well, :-D Chin Up Yayoi

no problem you exported your bot right? just right click it and click send to > compressed zip file.
then jump onto the home page of GTM (with the botm winner, etc) and click file host upload the zip file and it will give you a link
pm me that link and I can download your bot from there :-D

Sage I have both Craaigs and My robots ready to send but mine is requiring a custom .py that Mad helped me with... can I send you the bots so we meet the deadline but send you the bindings for them say on the 21st ?
I just have a lot of work right now and I dont want Craaig to be a victim because of it :-D

I think Starcore must of gave Doom two versions - kinda like Iron Outlaw, but not a full blown bot-type change. dont forget the only thing that changes on mines is weapons on the end of DDT's they are actually realistic Interchangeable robots, that is empty space in the spinners as I remove one DDT

yeah it seems to be a growing trend, the CC3 brackets I have planned right now involves some rumbles but it will depend on numbers and weather people like the idea I have in mind as to if I do it

that's part the fun isnt it? :P its not a serious tournament I think its a good chance to let people unwind and have a laugh along the way
I lost after dominating my match before the pit ate my bot :P but I dont really care so much, its still a fun tournament despite not even making it into the main bracket

if memory serves Hydro picked a big fight with Inf and then a thread just like this one was started in the chatterbox about it
talk about Deja Vu we should have a talk to the writing staff, I hate these GTM re-runs :P

definitely right ^^^
when I first joined Inf didnt sugar coat his feelings about my robots but I just listened to his points rather then trying to fight him, I am fine with him now, we get on well. :-D
