just use the bot exporter program and that will give you a list of every component used so you could see whats in it without dismantling

in each section there will be one competitor and one cube army,
it will become a little more clear once I post up the brackets (that is when the tournament starts)

thats a good way of doing it,
opening up more options with BFE but restricting it to a particular amount,
also roboman, (I say this to just about person who starts a tournament for the first time) dont throw a thread together in 5 mins and plan as you go along.
when I write my tournament rules I do it in a word document and spend a bit of time writing it all up and reading over to see if Its all clear and no vague rules or flaws or holes to seriously exploit.

the Clash Cubes Arena will take a while to modify/ rebuild but in the meantime the qualifying arena has changed so whats different ? the walls have been lowered by 1/3 of the original size (post 1) and there is a huge black wall in the center.... qualifying in CC3 is going to be different to previous, now robots will race head to head to kill the qualifying robot faster then the other the faster you "win" the better your qualifying position the faster you "loose" the worse your qualifying position the arena will also be reskinned/ named and feature in RA2:Backlash as a team match only arena... what makes it interesting is that in a team match you cant rely on your partner to help you out, its like 2 separate single matches

take a look at Nitro Circus episode "Winder Wonderland" they use them a lot on there attempting to do backflips on them.
I would like to own one but Australia only get snow in one place, the tops of the Blue Ranges mountains, the closest place with snow would be flying over to New Zealand

XP?
try using safe mode to resolve your problem, I think you can uninstall photoshop from there ?
just hit the power button on your case and then hit F8 repeatably until a black screen shows up with a bunch of options move down the with arrow key and select "Safe Mode" and hit enter
windows will boot up with a black background and words "safe mode" in each corner, you can access the internet or other networking connections in this mode but you may be able to uninstall Photoshop and see if that helps your cause

community AI packs are going as we speak (or type)
Stock: InfiniteInertia AI excepts community teams (high difficulty)
DSL: NarAI 2 expects community teams (high difficultly)
there was also R1885 AI but I dont see much of him anymore and LRA2 AI which for obvious reasons wont be completed
so its not a crazy thought if you want to put together a lower difficultly AI pack for members whos building doesn't meet the level Naryar or Inf want ?

Question: How do you get the AI to avoid that ball, if it's rolling around the arena? Or will they just slam into it if it's in their way now that you mention it ? Its yet to be in any robots way but I dont think they attempt to avoid it ? hmm I will probably ditch the ball anyway I was expecting people to say the arena was a bit plan so I throw that in at the last minute but everyone liked the arena but not the ball (except Somebody he didnt like the arena at all) due to the wall size they were prone to an occasional havok, Mad said this would be easily prevented if the walls were to be re-sized, so I am going to size them to the height of the small wall position and with that redo the .py commands and make them (as Click suggested) drop into the floor rather then rise above. so that's just something to keep in mind :-D

I have been a longtime member and over the 2 or 3 months a moderator on a phpBB forum and that's pretty straight forward and easy to use

so let me get this straight...
you import a robot from a copy of DSL 2.1 into another copy of DSL 2.1 then try to fight with it and the game crashes ?
which AI are you trying to fight ?

robots .bot files assemble a robot by retrieving components from the components folder, making a robot using DSL parts and putting it into a game without the DSL parts will not work

it doesnt work,
smartzones need the "base" smartzone to be attached anywhere they want, which doesnt handle the damage sounds line in the txt file
another idea though.....
making a tiny component that can be wired to a control and when the control is hit it plays the noise, (seen it done before)
then add a smartzone to the robot with a name written in a .py to trigger that control
when the "projectile" goes through the smart zone it will trigger the control that will make the component play the noise
:-D

I have a feeling (and I plan on testing it soon for my new anti ballast) the pass through ability is in the "base" smartzone inside the text file, Smartzones are just colored GMF boxes that are turned partially transparent if im not mistaken.
Edit: On second thought it might be possible with
passthru = smart_zone
I might try that out for you roboman

few things Doom,
I changed the mistake you did in the losers bracket, Ounce lost in round 1 of the losers bracket and so I took him out of round 2 and put Doomaster there instead (I made the same mistake when you were away lol)
and I also changed the losers bracket so it doesn't throw the screen out of whack, of coarse the previous way it looked it still uploaded to my photo bucket if you want it changed back :-D
hope you dont mind and to everyone else expect some more videos soon
Edit: Battle 3 of the losers bracket is now up

they are only antweights, so wood would be cheaper, also not to mention metal would likely blunt antweight size weapons should they make contact
