You've just got to change the wiring. As with every mod with RA2, all the wirings in Robot Designs are purely subjective.

Just compressing down the new download for today.
The Overnight Patch which is also being uploaded will be needed for anyone who downloaded yesterday, fixes some other things not found in the 2 hotfixes.
Thanks to Badnik and Mazakari for that tech support while I was sleeping, very much appreciated.
Will probably be taking a few days to not do a lot to do with this after these uploads are done, exhausted :')

Okay here we go.
X-Terminator 2 is still incredibly weak
Largely by design - Havok and all that.

If you hit F1 to see a robot's controls whilst the scoreboard is present the game freezes.
The scoreboard? Like, the thing at the end of matches? People press F1 when that comes up? Pretty sure that's not our doing there.

Also, the controls for Bigger Brother are incredibly confusing.

Edit; Same for Behemoth. And I bet many others.
Yeah, they're set up for xbox controllers, as were most of the old release bots. My advice would always be to check robot wiring after import.

Also the thumbnail for the sao paulo arena is the bridge of doom.
Oh well :P

bigger brother still feels a bit weak as its very hard to get most robots more than a few inches of the floor.
By design, BB is fairly weak these days.

I just got the same issue that Redace had i was using barberous and i got pushed up slightly onto the arena wall and when i landed it counted as eliminated.
We can't fix this, just something that has to be dealt with, if I recall correctly. Apologies.

seems like we have a friendly AI when they use lightning doesn't go for the flip.
I'll take a look at this if I get a chance.

We just released Robot Wars RA2 Mod+ over on the Facebook page.
The full blown statement can be found here.
If you just want to download the thing however, this is your best bet. Be warned it is the FULL GAME plus update because we changed so much.

Yeah, hi, actually logging back in, something I kinda hadn't planned on doing because Scrap makes super valid points and I needed to respond.

The Playzooki/I stuff is honestly a personal thing and although it isn't intended as an attack on the community in any sense (again, it's a personal thing) it does reflect badly on the mod and the mod team and I'm sorry for that. Many reasons, all of which will come off as excuses, but overall just massive stress (see: last few months of uni degree), and this is personally why I've been dealing with things pretty badly, especially a few days ago, seemingly ignoring the more valid arguments and just picking fights. Need to learn to stop letting stress get the better of me. ALSO IF ROBOT WARS COULD RING US AND LET US KNOW IF WE HAVE TO FINISH A HEAVYWEIGHT ROBOT FOR A TOURNAMENT THAT FILMS IN 4 WEEKS THAT WOULD BE REALLY GREAT. cough.

Right, next up. The fanboys are not the reason we are quitting. Sure, it grows tiresome and it can be frustrating for people to simply not read a message you've written out SO many times (seriously no Razer will not be in the mod) but it's awesome to see how enthused people are about it, and you can tell they are.
For myself and HB at least, we've generally transitioned from RA2 through to real combat robots and generally losing a lot of interest in RA2 and the mod. Don't get me wrong, it's in no small part down to developing the mod that we've met so many great people in the community that we've bonded with really closely as friends, and for that we'll be forever thankful. This said, the work on the mod is now almost being  because we said we would for those who have shown their support, rather than because we feel passionately about it. This isn't the way we want to run things, hence we decided to bring a close to everything before things got sour with we end up breaking promises - these delays have already been pushing it, I know.

Unfortunately I let myself makes things mildly sour and I'm genuinely apologetic for this to the entire community. I think this message has covered all the bases I intended to cover. Thank you to everyone who has supported us, especially those who have been vocal about it, it's you guys (honestly) that have encouraged us to actually get this expansion out instead of letting it fade into obscurity - as Scrap said, it's a very thankless task when you consider quite often a days work goes into each replica and we've been running 24/7 technical support on the mod page, so knowing people appreciate what we've done has been our fuel for carrying on.

If anyone wants to get in touch with me regarding anything feel free to drop me a line on Skype or Facebook. Hopefully you all enjoy the expansion :)
