Try Dwarf Fortress. It's obnoxious to pickup at first (read the wiki a lot before playing), but it's hilariously awesome in depth and !!COMEDY!!

 There you go bb This is the best i could do with it. Maybe it needs to longer, I don't know. Right now I'm making an alternative to angle, T, Y and all other connectors like that right now that are hopefully going to be worth using. Also maybe a dual axle ztek. Just some ideas. I don't think a dual ztek gearbox will be possible for me though.

edit the RA2.cfg and make sure these lines look like this:
FSDisplayWidth=1024
FSDisplayHeight=768
FS3DDisplayWidth=1024

or if even that's too big use this:
FSDisplayWidth=800

Ok I don't know much about DSL but it looks like you can fit the srimech inside the chasis, and the chassis can be shrunk a little bit too.
