mines probably a tie between sandbox, stratergy and RPG

Try Dwarf Fortress. It's obnoxious to pickup at first (read the wiki a lot before playing), but it's hilariously awesome in depth and !!COMEDY!!

And yeah sandbox games are awesome (Gmod for example)
I like action games, especially those side scrolling bullet hell games.

Arcade on rails shooters IF done like Sin and Punishment, otherwise RPGs or Zelda styled adventure games.

I only really play the F1 games now, used to play a lot more.
