concept bot another attempt at getting a TRFBD to have the rotation of the weapons to be so that they hit downwards whilst the robot moves forward, which would make it far less likely to be deweaponed stable enough but the spinners have too much torque so it ends up being really slow. assumedly if i downgraded the weapon motor (mag probably) or upgraded the drive (e-tek) it'd work better
2.1 is gang and we are old men do not take away our few remaining pleasures in this world the problem i can forsee with an sns flipper is that it's either so fast that not bot will meaningfully get onto its wedge or that it'll be too slow to get any significant flip without a more complicated wedge/flipper setup
Yeh i wish small wedges weren't so low HP but hey the beaters are good the wedge isn't basically would add firestorm flippers if they weren't garbage in 2.1
hope no more clone with a little whammer-ness to it popup part is good, dunno about the whammer part really but i had to avoid a cease and desist from the french government somehow
SnS looks nice but also somewhat underweaponed lw looks good these 2.2 or not? i guess it would make a difference as to whether npc fast -> technos would be good enough
skins tend to not matter. i know a lot of stock guys used custom skins when i was more active, doesn't really make any difference since if you export the botfile the maps should be the same
i think it's hard to play this game everyday cus it's pretty patience testing. other competitive games have kinda filled the void ra2 left and whilst i like the unique environment around the game and the community generally it's pretty arse to actually run tournaments for or gauge "competitive skill". still cool when bigger tournaments happen and it's fun to watch a lot of the better matches still
