I've had time to think about the past events, and I regret many things I did last week. I'm sorry. I even take back some of the things I said after looking back at the reasoning of my actions and stance on a taboo subject (but that's a conversation subject for DMs. I ain't publicly saying sh** about hentai, porn, or anime in general in this community ever again. It doesn't belong here and I evidently still have moral, ethical and existential issues I need to work out.)
With that said, would it be ok if I was still allowed to post robots on here? I entered a server for RA2 Outcasts, albeit only for the simple reason if I have no community to build robots , rather than out of anything resembling spite. I'm not sure if I mentioned this, but I have no hard feelings towards the community, it's mods, or even the people who disagreed with me (because I totally get it).
You have every right to your disappointment. I've done irreversible damage to my 10 years in this community, hence why I decided to leave before I could get banned. After all if you love something, you should let it go, and only upon coming back is it truly yours. Of course, I don't expect being welcomed back to the Discord...
...however, I've heard from one of the moderators (I'll keep them anonymous) that its still probably fine for me to post robots on here, since people were still torn up about letting me go. It's a good suggestion, but I need to know for certain if I'm truly wanted.
So tell me GTM, should I come back here after my ****up on Discord? I want to keep building robots, entering tournaments, and atone for my past wrongdoings, but it's up to all of you if I deserve that opportunity or not. Leave a comment and let me know.

I plan on making a webcomic series called "Bot Wars". It's a satirical parody of both Battlebots AND Robot Wars, featuring many similar elements such as the idea of house robots, the fight-night tournament format, arena hazards, and most importantly robot designs.
The idea is that I would take a real-life design, modify it and rename it, and list it as either a homage or a parody of the real life competitor that inspired it, and have it compete in the series.
For example, there's a competitor named Tin-Head. It HAS to be like Mauler from Battlebots. I won't explain why, but literally the entire series is dependent on this. Tin head is a robot with many different versions, just like Mauler, with a similar evolution in design: A lid/fullbody spinner with a monster face on it as well as the robot's name. It too is run by a crazy family of rednecks called the Gilford Family (parody of Mauler's creators, the Tilford Family. This is probably the ONLY time a real-life team is ever parodied. Usually, it's just the bots.) Tin head is different from Mauler for consistent reasons:
Tinhead's design is asymmetrical (not in shape, but in coloration, armor material, decorations, weaponry) has a consistent yet different monster design on it and has a different base color, as well as design aesthetics like a painted lobster claw, painted wings, and 2 different types of antlers. They might even protrude out the top of the robot like a self-righting poll.
I don't plan on stealing ANYTHING. In fact, I think I'll have a small counter in the background counting every single reference the comic makes to real-life robot combat, and then have a big long list at the end of every chapter explaining what each reference is connected to. (You can't be accused of stealing someone's creative work if you don't take credit for it, but rather credit the creator, right?)
I've already attempted to contact both Battlebots and Robot Wars about this, but have had no luck in getting ANY response. I've also studied copyright laws as well as what the standards are for something to be considered an official parody, and what's considered copyright infringement. Sadly, it seems to be heavily based on a case-by-case circumstance of what is and isn't considered illegal.
The nature of the homage/parody elements are simply a crude, yet light-hearted take on common tropes, cliches, and phenomena in general robot combat. It doesn't attack any real-life individuals and barely references any to begin with. The bots homaged/parodied are treated with what I consider as a reasonable amount of respect and I whole-heartedly believe that this won't damage combat robotics, but rather STRENGTHEN it by reaching out using comedy and introducing people to the basics of how robot-combat works.
I'm deathly scared of being sued, but I absolutely refuse to give up on the idea of implementing real-life tried and tested designs from real teams and tournaments into my series.
What's your guys' thoughts on this? Do I have a chance at succeeding with this plan or at least viably defending it in court, or am I totally screwed if I proceed with this? Do ya'll need more examples of what I'm talking about or something? Please let me know.

Why? Also, I tried to install DSL2.2 and the new computer said it would take over AN HOUR. Then the download crashed. Oh, by the way, I'm using a new computer, and now I'm having this issue. Also, my new computer for RA2 is Windows 10. Not sure if that means anything.

HAAALP! I have a new laptop and RA2 crashes the instant I start it.

If I upload more than 3 pictures to GTM using the attachment system, it crashes. What software do you guys use to get 4+ pictures onto a post?

I'm trying to add additional pics to my Lego Bots collection, but it won't work. I've tried 3 times, and each time failed and forced me to reload, only for it to then say that I already submitted the post. I check and there's no post to be found. It's REALLY pissing me off.

I'm trying to play RA2 on my Windows 8.1 computer. Everything works fine, except for when I do screenshots. They all come out as solid black images.
Is there a setting on my computer that I need to fix? I plan on building house robots and my regular Windows XP computer can't handle complicated builds.

The Scrappers team keeps on crashing, and I don't know why. I click on them and the computer crashes. I can't even see their robots.

I noticed that the DSL2.2 version of Biohazard is continuously crashing my computer. I think it might be the skirt hinges.
Anyone know what's going on?

I can't zoom into the chassis. My mouse scroll thing is working fine outside of RA2 but not in the botlab. Does anyone know what's going on?

I'm working on a Hammertime replica and am making him a custom burst motor. Only problem is, I don't know what parts of the text file I should change.
For example, there's 2 parts of the file I want to change: Burst and power. I figured these were the important ones. They have these sets of numbers that I don't understand. What do the numbers represent exactly?

I figured out the wheel problem.
(More specifically, I found a tutorial for it.)
Now I have another question:
How do I make components invisible?
(This would REALLY help me with the development of PROJECTBB2016, which is basically a massive replica pack.)

Yup, I'm making another one. I'll be revising old models and creating new ones. So far, these new ones include- Little Pharma (Needs revision) Torquemada Aaaand Zugzwang I'll make these bots more accurate in performance and durability, since the BBAI modpack was a total mess. This will include old and new Battlebots competitors. :D I still need a tutorial on decompiling and texturing wheels. Then I can finish Mecha Tentomushi.

I've been making Lego models of combat robots for about 8 years now. Here I'll be showcasing all the ones I currently got. I always do tournaments with these things, and I've actually broken a few parts in the past with the weaponry, especially as of recently, since the designs have been evolving more and more. To start this off is the non-competing test bot called Bulki: He's a basic rammer bot with 4 wheel drive. Back view: Yeeeeah, not much to see here. I only did a shoddy job with this one. He's supposed to be able to take a lot of hits and do basic durability test with actual competitors. (By ramming them.) These make-shift internals are supposed to represent the components of the bot. In this case, the red bricks are batteries, the black piece near the center is the control board, and the grey center-piece is the drive system. (Imagine the pegs on each side connecting to imaginary drive belts which drive the wheels. His drive set-up was inspired by Frostbite.)

I'm having some trouble retexturing wheels. Whenever I change the texture file, the wheels become invisible and n longer have a collision model. Also, I'm trying to make a black axle extender (from DSL 2.2) but it doesn't have a bitmap for me to edit.
Anyone know what's going on?

So I was browsing one of those videos featuring amazing facts and trivia, and one in particular struck me: There was a woman who sat in a couch for 6 years straight. Eventually, her skin got fused into the fabric. I initially thought that was bullsh**, but when I looked it up, I learned the whole story: www.unbelievable-facts.com/2014/03/480-pound-woman-dies-after-being-stuck.htmlIt's probably the most messed up true story I ever found on the internet. There's a bunch of other sources too on this subject. What do you guys think of this article? inb4 someone says "TOMMY'S A FNAF FAG!1!1!1!1337SIEGHAIL"

My mom was just recently diagnosed with stage 2 Melanoma, AKA skin cancer. We're pretty sure though that it's stage 3, and if so, she's more than likely going to die. I know it's stupid of me to ask for support on a forum like this. Hell, some people will probably laugh at me mock me and hope my mom dies, or some stupid troll bullsh** like that, but nonetheless, I would like your guys support, and wish her the best. She's always been there for me, whilst my father barely did jack-sh**. She helped me through my Autism and made it into a gift. she's even helped me through my recent Bipolar 1 diagnosis, and has loved me for me better qualities, whilst my dad criticized me endless faults and pushed me into manic depression. Please, all ask is that you wish her the best. I'm usually the not-so-serious funny guy on the forum, AKA The Forum Autistic/ Replica Autistic/ Replica Prince, but now I'm serious. My mom only has a 50% chance of survival, and I'm not one to have faith in anything, not even myself. (Thanks dad. ) I'll see if I can keep you guys updated and try what I can to support her through this. Also, lets just keep this to the forum. If my dad finds out, he may try and take full custody of me and continue to make my life a living hell. That is all.

Finally, I do Ironforge. So far, I've made some very inneffective bots, so I went to aesthetics and what-not: So yeah, this didn't take long to make.
